Thanks for watching, from all of us at Matt's off-road recovery!
3 of the craziest thing I've ever seen happened that day... 1. That poor guy in the rzr almost died and I'm not sure he even knew it. That rock was totally in the right place at the right time. 2. Recovering a plane with a vehicle, I had no idea planes were that light. I think they said total was 1200 lbs. And 3. Lizzy walking off the mountain alone. She is the real deal! Thanks for inviting us out Matt, awesome day 👌 -from other Matt
And he almost crushed his arm just before almost dying. His lucky day getting out of there unharmed
My stomach dropped when he started rolling.. that's a LONG way down.
that rzr tiping was a brown pants moment !
He definitely knew it. Watch how long it takes to get a response of only, "ya, i'm good". Glad everyone came off the recovery safely.
Way to go Lizzy!!! You're the queen of the off road trails.

Major credit to the guy who shouted " wo wo wo hand in hand in " when the ATV rolled. It could have been nasty without that timely save.
Colt, I think.
Hand still didn't go in though, they were lucky
that rock saved him from a LOT of rolling!!! God put that rock there YEARS ago for right now! literally! that would have been horrible day.
@@outdoors-gs9td that was a nasty spot. I wouldn't be surprised to find out other vehicles have come to rest against that rock. In Colorado there's a nasty spot with a big bolder like that and I've seen a couple pictures of rollovers stopped by it
@@4wheelliving132 God put those rocks there a long time ago with a reason for sure! beautiful country. i hunt and seeing big Mule deer was nice!
I'm latin, from the Caribbean actually, so let me see how can I explain this in english.... One of the things I admire most about Matt and everybody around him, is that no one behave or believe as they are the best of what they do. Everybody gives ideas, discuss them and take the better one, no arguing , and if doesn't work, well ... brainstorming again. Its like they are all super god friends and family. There is so much respect on the air.
The fact that he call for help when he knows he wont get them out, says it all. Down to earth, sure of what hes is capable off all the time.
Best regards from the Dominican Republic to all of you guys
Very well spoken, it takes complete respect to work that well as a team.
Team work at its finest .👍
You are totally right
That UTV roll was a little luck away from horrible. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
Saw that arm, and thought the worst. Thank goodness.
Thanks Travis Have AWonderful DAY
If that rock wan't there...
Good living earns you one of those once in a while
back in my four wheeler days I saw a guy roll down a mountain, it was not a pretty sight, they didn't get killed but they had a long hospital stay
I want to thank Matt and crew for sharing Ed with the world. Not sure what it is about that man but he always makes me smile when I get the privilege of seeing him in a video, God bless you all.
Very True!! God Bless Ed, Matt and everyone of the crew!!
Amen!
Yes agreed . I can't wait to see him when he gets the golden nugget
I agree Ed is a very loveable person just like Matt is I think they are each other's ride or die!! God Bless that whole crew that was an amazing rescue

Lizzy needs a channel with all her activities. She's an impressive person. Makes all us Utahns proud.
Ive been saying she needs to make her onlyfans already 🙄
She does have a channel. But there is not much on it. I suspect that it would be a full time job to do that.

@@Yamaha350w what a slug you have to be to say that, grow up.
Love the authenticity. No show boating just real life good folks
This comment is right on point. Team is always upbeat, having a good time, but still just doing the job. None of the stupid “dude” showboating you see getting in the way of the work on other channels.
(That foolishness has a market, I’m just not part of it.)
I said it before and I'll say it again. The state of Utah should be paying you guys for all the exposure to the absolutely stunning natural beauty. It really makes me want to go there.
Props to Rudy for jumping into action and getting a line on that UTV quick! He saw how sketchy it was and go the situation handled like a boss!
I saw that too!! Rudy knew without discussion what needed to happen NOW!
Heck of a business model. Living your best life, making money doing it, and making money sharing it. Love you guys!!!
@@powershop1903 it’s great content. I don’t think these type of recoveries would be profitable without the channel. Most of the people are probably going up for the fun, Matt probably pays expenses.
@@powershop1903 .. i think most of them were Buddies who were along for the ride ( unpaid except for maybe lunch )
@@powershop1903 I think the bulk of the money comes from selling stuff on RUclips and/or whatever other RUclips income streams there are.
Lizzy is developing superhero status. She just does whatever. You go girl.
Oh, awesome recovery too. Scary as.
I love how Matt can drive a trailer up a place some people have trouble driving a utv. Good times
Some people have trouble walking xD
That's what happens sometimes when you put all your character specs into one thing. I can hike for hours without tripping on a single root or rock, but easily trip over my own feet walking in the parking lot. (i wish there was a reset button, so i can respec my character)
Doesn't help when you have serious ballast issues in said UTV lol
Matt, at what point does too many people become more of a liability than an asset?
@@RazbagLLC And at what point does making RUclips content take priority over getting the job done efficiently. There were too many content creators on that adventure, in my opinion.
I think Matt tricked a couple of them into going - calls them up and says "Hey a bunch of us are going out for wings" :-) Great video!

Hats off to anyone ... Man or woman that can take matters into their own hands! Way to go Lizzy
Rudy was the man on this one. He was just where he needed to be every time.
That comes with experience. He'll only get better.
Like just about every day he's out there, it seems.
As a private pilot, even though I don't fly anymore, I did all of my initial training in a Cessna 150/152. I still remember that at 8000 feet a 150 is pretty close to it's maximum performance capability depending on winds, density altitude and gross weight.. Flying that Cessna in a mountainous area is always a little bit risky. I'm not here to criticize the pilot since I don't know all of the circumstances. I'm glad he was OK. Great recovery by all!
Com'l pilot here with mountain training - you're right, the 150 has almost NO excess climb ability at 9300 feet...and you NEVER put yourself in a situation where a downdraft can ruin your day...you always cross ridges at 45 degrees and or leave room to turn around if you can outclimb rising terrain. This guy is lucky to have survived this classic accident. Even better you stay on the ground when the winds are blowing hard.
His brother has similarly poor judgement, evidently, the way he flipped the RZR and stuck his arm out.
@@danielhawley6817 The plane had not been out there very long and it does not appear to have been legal any time in the last 15 years. My first thought was the plane was put down due to weather or not enough power to fly through the heat of the desert at that altitude. How did the pilot land it without ripping the plane apart?
Lizzie rocks! "She's gonna walk off this mountain." And off she goes!
Great recovery y'all! Glad no one was injured. Take care.
I love how they filmed it.
Even in cool weather, casually strolling down that mountain is a pretty impressive feat. She's tougher than she looks.
I really thought he was joking!!
Walking off the mountain alone was pretty baller. Someone needs to animate a gif with the sunglasses and cigar sliding on screen. I’d have made it about 50 yards before I’d have tripped or misjudged a drop, and come limping back 20 minutes later in need of first aid care. Either that, or no one would ever hear from me again. They say on a still night, if you listen very close, you can still hear an asthmatic voice huffing and puffing “Hello? Anybody? I think I’m lost!”
@@bigjeep2195
I suppose the UTV flip was a scam too?
Lizzy is tough chic. I give props to any woman who can weld better then most men and jump in vehicles stuck and help drive them out.
Holly crap. That rock saved that situation. That brings it home, we are seeing a camera angle and I bet it’s 10x wors the drops
Wow. That was exhilarating. I'm glad no one was hurt. And when you said Lizzy had an appointment, I was expecting you to say she would be taking one of the vehicles back. But no, she just casually walks off the mountain back to civilization.
Gives the words "Aircraft Carrier" a whole new meaning.
🤣👍
Lizzie definitely should make a channel! There’s things she does that many guys I know wouldn’t do.
Absolute Utah badass!
Lizzie is such a cool person. Every video I’m amazed by her. I thought she was kidding that she had to make an appointment and she was going to walk down the mountain! The whole epic drone b-roll of her trekking down was absolutely hilarious, the mad lad, she actually did it 😂
Literally! She’s such a badass and so cute too😂😂😂
Lizzie is a beast! She is tougher than nails!! Best disclaimer ever! Matt: “Don’t try this in your minivan!” Only a DA would try that in a minivan.
Everyone with a Delica or Hiace took that as a challenge.
The sad part is there are a few DA’s who would give it a try.
District attorney?
Detective agency?
Dental Assistant?
Our friend was visiting from Ely and mentioned watching your channel. I told them your shop was just down the road and they can buy your merch there. When we got to the shop they told us you were out recovering a plane. Very cool to see the recovery.
Rudy's quick action in getting to the accident with the RZR & analyzing what was needed to secure it & the driver was the kind of thing first responders must have & is often the difference between life & death. Great job buddy!
You have a 1967 Cessna 150 with a Lycoming O-235-L2C , 110 hp engine. And you are right about how light they are, usually around 985lbs to 1100lbs.
It's possible this plane can be restored, but more likely, it will be parted out.
Since there was a prop strike, the engine will need to be rebuilt, and a rebuilt 0-235 is worth about $25,000 (unless it broke the crankshaft).
landing gear, instruments, etc all are valuable.
Sad to see the little bird get busted up, but extremely happy that the pilot walked away from it.
I can almost hear Ed's calm, slow drawn voice casually say to Matt, while looking straight ahead: " that guy back there just rolled off the mountain, and it's 65 degrees and sunny".
Too funny!
"...We'll git im out"
That hurt, I wasn't expecting your comment to be so funny, I laughed so hard that it hurt me 😂😂😂
Incredible recovery…and you gotta to luv Lizzy who hikes miles out for an appointment! What a jewel and what a team!
That was of the best recoveries yet.. The rollover, glad that he was OK.
And Lizzy, walking off that mountain, guts and determination.
One of the best crew's out there. You guys are awesome.
Looked like she was following a cattle trail. And, too cold for rattlesnakes. She made the walk look shorter than the drive.
Good job everybody. Gotta say, Lizzy is quite the Bad A!
That arm-out reaction was terrifying. Could have been a life flight situation in the blink of an eye. Epic recovery. Good job everyone.
5:22 that was Cloooooose! It's a good thing they had the right team nearby!
This is why I laugh everytime someone safely flips a vehicle in one of these videos
I love how every other video clip from scouting was "Oh look another nice Buck" 😂😂
Yes.
Duly marked on the GPS for hunting season.
Even with camouflage, some deer hunters are easy to spot.
That 3rd buck spotted looked to be VERY nice.

Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving .
One thing I have learned from these videos....I can not wheel an offroad vehicle like I thought I could thinking it would not be that hard. I will remain on roads made for vehicles. I grew up with the old saying that a 4X4 will just get you further from the gate before getting stuck
My heart dropped 30ft the moment I saw the arm out of the rolling RZR, so glad nobody got hurt. Wish you all best of luck for the future.
Same here - gotta fight that natural reaction. Need wrist tethers.
Rudy is a quick thinker. This video really showed just how intune he is with what's happening and the tools he has on hand.

Whoever called ‘hand in’ in the heat of the moment is a real trail hero.
I was legitimately scared when that utv started going over. That rock that stopped a 1,000 foot roll must have been place there for this sole reason. Glad everyone is okay.

Vehicle recovery is something I usually get pretty bored with pretty quick. Somehow, you always have the most interesting recoveries and make them so interesting that I can hardly wait for a new video to arrive. This was an amazing and very interesting recovery. Great production, great crew and very well done. Thanks for bringing us along.
Even their simple recoveries are fun to watch.

I’ve been hooked on this channel binge watching for about a week. These are good people. I’ve only heard one cuss word in probably 50 videos and Matt’s patience is unmatched! I’m for sure team Lizzy. Great content
Ah, aircraft recoveries. Even when it's just off the runway they tend to get interesting. When they pick remote locations a lot of ingenuity tends to come into play. I've been involved in almost a dozen over the years. You got really lucky with the RZR trail machine. At only 50 inches wide and approximately 8 feet long they tumble pretty good when you get them rolling. That rock was in a very fortunate location. Good times and fantastic that nobody got hurt in either the plane or RZR mishaps.
So cool the BleepinJeep guys were helping out, Matt and Colt are beasts!
Well, This was one helluva different recovery!! Surprise that Plane didn't have more damage After crashing. Matt's skills sure put to the test too.
Couldn’t have done it without Ed’s help. :)
Looks like the pilot made a great emergency landing and kept it upright. Still considerable damage to the prop, engine, gear, probably firewall, etc…
It’s a shame the wind flipped it, the bulk of the damage was from that. The only forced landing damage is the nose gear and the engine. Hats off to the team for getting it dismantled and out without more damage
It’s totaled.
@@MotoVloggedOUT 100% loss. When you consider a 150 sells for $25-35k in decent shape, the cost to rebuild would far exceed the value. EVERYTHING in aircraft repair--especially certified (I.e. production) models--costs more than you'd ever imagine.

Instinct and common sense rarely go hand in hand with fear as an undertone! Just glad to see everyone able to shout out keeping injuries from occurring.
Yea, his weight distribution needs re thinking also !
That rock and staggeringly lucky direction of fall looked to be the only things between a video people can laugh about, and that poor guy not surviving to tell the tale 👀 Makes you remember just how dangerous Matt's crew's job is.
If you’d ever been in a real roll over you’d know it’s hard not to.
Yeah I've done the same thing a couple of times but fortunately I immediately realize that is bad I jank my arm back in .lol

I had an engine out landing in A forrest ,had to pull my wings and trailer it out. Great video, glad no one got hurt.
3:50 - Rudy expresses better than I ever could the simple, raw joy of tearing around off road in a spectacularly well-designed vehicle: “ Yeeee HAAA!”. I mean, he’s a professional on a paid job but still, it’s a magnificent day in Southern Utah and the Morrvair© flat out RIPS! Thanks for reminding us of why we all wind up stuck, sooner or later.
The run of the mill rides all blend in together after a while. I will remember hydro-locking my Jeep Cherokee in a creek 100 miles from home, forever. One time a bunch of us dirt bike riders came upon a Jeep hopelessly stuck in a mud hole 35 miles from the road. We gave him, his Wife, and his Daughter a ride home. I was the only one of us with buddy pegs, so the Wife went with me. I told her to hang on to me, and she did very lightly. The first time that I had to gas it to get through a snow drift, she grabbed on TIGHT. LOL
Customer: "So, do I hire a pilot, a four-wheelin' crew, or a towing company?"

That’s quite a recovery, well done. The Cessna’s going to end up on Aerotrader - “Lightly damaged in an off-field landing.”
I've got a parachute that could go with it. Got a real good deal on it. Only used once, never opened. Its got some staining on the fabric but its in good shape otherwise.
Annual inspection is due.

Unfortunate place to land!
Couple years ago, we happened a across a glider pilot that went in hard in the East bound lanes of I-90 just barely into Montana from Idaho. Still no idea whether he went under or over the overpass at the top. He lived, but was a bit worse for the wear!
I learned to fly aerobatics in an RV-7a....that bird, and her owner, unfortunately went in at about 200mph in the Coast Range in Oregon just West of McMinnville when the weather decided to sock in to the deck without warning. Old P51 Mustang pilot, and a damn good man. I helped put rivets in the wings of that plane when I was younger. My Grandfather's best friend. They are both gone now. Rest in Peace Al, and Grandpa.
Man! What an episode! Way to be on the ball with shouting "Hands in" as the RAZR was tipping. A crushed arm would have immediately changed that trip to a medical rescue. Nice seeing the teamwork and a very "different" recovery.
that first reaction of putting the arm out to stop the fall is sooo natural - I was thinking "hands in!" as Matt yelled it. Quite the crew!
Love you lizzy. God bless you
Over the course of my Navy career I actually have done several (too many) aircraft and helicopter recoveries after mishaps in the mountains outside of Fallon (and on the base), in the Lake Tahoe area, the Southern California desert, Morocco, the Air Force Base on Guam and an air base in Kuwait. I benefited from using helicopters to lift the wreckage/engines/landing gear off the mountain, being able to tow the aircraft with it partially on a dolly, or being near a road for a crane to drive in so I could lift onto a dolly or truck. Well done! Thank you for sharing this.
thanks for your service. Fallon area and Tahoe Basin are absolutely beautiful.

Happy Thanskgiving to Matt and the crew! Extremely awesome video of an unusual recovery. Glad the gentleman in the UTV didn't get injured... the "hands in" shout definitely saved him from a really bad day as did the rock that he landed against.
Lizzie is a real trooper walking out of there!
You guys pretty much recovered everything so far.. and Lizzy is a true warrior walking that far all by her self.. glad she is safe...and the guy that almost tumbled down that hill... God was watching him...
Lizzy walking down the mountain she’s the real deal
Fantastic recovery, dramatic and entertaining video, the drone coverage was especially good of Lizzy's journey.
I appreciate your videos showing off great work ethic, kindness and positive vibes. It is also good to see youtubers that don't live solely off RUclips views and merch, but have an honest business that they can share with people who enjoy seeing how the world really is, not just made up ones for views.
I’m really glad that the pilot is ok!
All of the MORR videos are wonderfully enjoyable. This one is amazing ! It has everything. A near disastrous roll. 5:23 "Lucky that rock was there," says Ed. 8:42 Then at 14:40 Lizzy WALKS off the mountain!!! She is a true woman: welds, gets in half-tipped vehicles, and walks as far as necessary to keep an appointment.
You guys are gonna hit a million followers likely by the end of the year at this rate, pretty cool to see. I really love this channel, the team chemistry, Ed's weather reports, Matt's wholesome approach with stuck folks, and the beautiful scenery of course. These videos really help cheer up my mood on my down days, even if its only for the time of the video. Appreciate you all, happy Thanksgiving!
It won’t be too long before Matt makes an offer for RUclips.
I saw a guy crush his arm under a roll bar once doing the “I can save it” maneuver.
Good on the camera man reminding him to pull the arm in.
What a crazy day, that guy was lucky that rock was there!!! Recovering the plane was super cool!! Lizzy just walked back, WOW!!!
You guys and gal are amazing!!!!!!! My question is does the pilot get a t-shirt saying “ We got them out”. Great job recovering that aircraft.
New to this channel and blown away!! As if the great outdoors, remote & treacherous roads and outstanding vista views weren't enough, the recovery crew is made up of personable and knowledgeable folks!! The on-the-go (or on-the-fly in this case) engineering is fun to watch and the whole process very entertaining. I'm a fan!
Let's all step back and take a minute to appreciate what a fantastic off road driver Matt is. Moving that plane down the mountain on a trailer!? Well done on this from everyone. Really enjoyed watching.0
I was thinking the same thing. That was pro action, for sure.
And keeping the wild desert clean too
It rare to have such a great guy as a friend that will drop everything without a thought or expectation of repayment, I have a couple like this that I've known nearly my entire sixty years of life. Nice to see there are still good people out there.
