hey man, heres my story, i bought halo projectors for my 95 integra and i installed them, i washed the car 3 days later and i noticed water leaking into the headlights.i pulled off the front bar again and it seemed the water was leaking through the part that connects the front clear part to the back black part. it was a simple solution, i just used silicone to fill the gap in and it stopped all the water leak. its been almost 10 months now and no leaks, the halos, low+highbeam work perfect still
To get just the running lights on with the halos, you'll have to splice the running light wire on the front combination lights and wire the pos+ and neg- wires to their corresponding wires on the combination lights. Use a volt meter to find out which wire is which. Hook them up and your done. That's how you get the halos with your runners.
Isaac V. i tried that and for some reason my halos didnt turn on. I tried outting the stock headlights back on after that and for some reason they wont turn on either, got any idea on why this is happening?
now this video was very helpful, because when i was looking at the aftermarket halo projectors online, i was wondering how do you install these things, because i thought that the 4 round headlights were separate, until i saw this video and now i know how to do it.
@TheWarmplate Yes we do ship to Canada. Dealer ships can install the headlights, but might not install the halo and LED for you; since its a safety issue. They will fit all 1994-2001. The headlights are all the same
@Twitchster93 If you want your halos to stay on the minute you turn on your key just wire them into a switched 12v power wire that turns on and off with your key. I wired my halos into my parking lights so when I turned on my parking lights they would be on.
In the video we just didn't connect the Halos. The black and red wires are connected to the Halos and you would need to connect them. Red to a positive and black to a ground. You do not need extra wires for the halos.
Good job Bro I bought the same ones and put them on myself be for I seen your video it’s. Commonsense they look awesome on my 1998 ❤️Acura integra❤️ GSR 👊😎✌🏻
Yes the connectors are provided of course, xcept for the Halo and LED wires because you need to splice those wires together and wire them to your parking wires.
no, the halos are static. however, if you have fog lights that are activated by a switch or knob, you can splice your halo wires to that. there you have it
@TheCardboardGuy what color is your car?chrome looks good on any car, and will produce a bit more light output than black due to the housing.. but its your preference
@Aztek6191 Those black and red wires that come with the headlights are for the Halo lights, They are supposed to be connected to the bumper lights. We have an instructional video on how to connect the LED/Halo's as well that might help!
@RuneCorgi the 2 extra wires are for the halo's. we didnt show that we hooked it up because we have an additional video that teaches you how to wire that.
@trinidaffy Connect them to your parking lights; which is the power that goes on first before your headlights come on. Parking lights are the one click right before the headlights come on. Find the power for them and splice your halo wires to them. Good luck
@chewbakage you have to remove your HIDs first and swap out the headlights and redo your HID's again. make sure its also the correct bulb size for your new headlights.
@TheOnlyoneeric Thank you for your opinion and yeah i took the halos apart as well I think I might mess around with them and make them better for not that much of a price. Also I saw your video racing a 350z, love your teggy man! I only use my to travel I dont really race or I cant really tune him since I live in CA and everything here is illegal, but its reliable and with these gas prices it really helps out when I travel 6 hours straight! :D
@TheOnlyoneeric Hey! You have the same problems I do... I bought them a while ago because my stock headlights were just yellow and awful since my car was abandoned before it was given to me. Its to late to change them and well the projector is the only good thing about them. Did you fix your halo? My left highbeam halo burnt on me :(
I bought a bumper from certifit after I got into a front end collision. Are these things fairly difficult to put on when they are brand new? My reinforcement bar I believe is in good condition still.
on the video u just grabbed the extra red and black wire and tuck it in and the halos were working is that right? do u need the extra red and black connected for the halos to work?
@Sweetswede15 It could be that your have spliced the lights to the driving lights. So that at night, when the headlights are on; the halo rings and LEDs go off. Have all your lights on at night and tap them into the lights that stay on with the headlights.
DDM Tuning has some really good kits for a great price, you should check them out for HIDs. And the cut off line is straight because they are projectors so its a controlled light output instead of just having a bulb and the light bounces everywhere. I think thats whats what you are trying to tell me by a straight line? But yeah check out DDM for some HID's stay around 6K
But I heard that only cars that are factory made with the projector lights are totally legal, but putting them onto the integra is not legal because it's not the original lights. I searched around and people said it's illegal unless the car was made with those lights. Also, quick question. Do you know what those yellow neon lights that people put on their integra is called? It's so illuminating. I want those lights on my car, but I don't know what they are called.
Hey I have watched your video and it has helped me with putting in my new lights in my 98 Integra, but I am having some trouble with wiring the actual HALOS to the parking lights. do you have a video for doing that for an Acura Integra?
Curious bro. .what bulbs or HID kit do you use on the Teg to get a good light output? People say get the Sonar Brand Halo Projectors because they are one of the better ones to purchase. .but standard halogens and my HID kit's overall light output is not the best. .the cut off is a straight line. .hard to explain. .not a clean output like the stock headlights. What are your thoughts?
hey i need a serious answer here what kinda of h.i.d bulbs should i use on these projectors oh and to also add these headlights to not leak water and all that bul shit these people are saying there great but yea i you could tell me what kind of h.i.d's to use that would be awesome
i have a question or two, i have the same exact pair of halo headlights for my integra, one:Where can i splice the halos into, two:do i need to put in my highbeam lightbulbs into the new halo headlight setup?
What is the visibility output on these halo lights? I've been told by a mechanic that the light output on halos is much lower than oem integra headlights
Hey so i got a question i just put those same headlights in my 96 acura integra. Everything works great but i have one question still, what did i miss to have just the halo rings light up? When i turn the lights 1 click the bottom lights come on, and twoclicks turns the halo rings and the center bulb on. Not a huge deal just wondering how to wire the lights so i can turn just the halo and bottom lights on. If anyone knows how please let me know. Thanks RUclips
This vid is good but doesnt show how to wire the Halo lights to come on with your driving lights ( have the blue ring on with out your headlights on ) . I recently installed m3 style mirrors and wired them to be steady on but blink with my blinkers on my 96 Integra. There are 2 wires going to your driving light and you have to splice into them and run the wires to the Halo so they come on with your driving lights
Okay sorry about that, but actually one of the red wires are negative and the other red wire is positive. I know it sounds dumb but i dont know why it ended up with two red wires.
@Pamfilo22 Nice lol! I met a guy out in Cali that had a turboed teggy. Totally wouldn't pass inspection. but he would get around it by switching everything back to stock get it passed then put all his turboed stuff back on. lol it's a lot of work and is a big fine if you get caught by the local authorities. but yes they get pretty good gas mileage!
hey man, heres my story, i bought halo projectors for my 95 integra and i installed them, i washed the car 3 days later and i noticed water leaking into the headlights.i pulled off the front bar again and it seemed the water was leaking through the part that connects the front clear part to the back black part. it was a simple solution, i just used silicone to fill the gap in and it stopped all the water leak. its been almost 10 months now and no leaks, the halos, low+highbeam work perfect still

@1englandnigga we're glad it helped! the process will be the same no matter what kinds of headlights you purchase.. as long as its the correct fitment
@1069899 You are very welcome! Glad you found our video of good use. Enjoy the new lights!
In the video we just didn't connect the Halos. The black and red wires are connected to the Halos and you would need to connect them. Red to a positive and black to a ground. You do not need extra wires for the halos.

What were those extra wires for???
The halos in this video they don't show u how to hook up the halos!
Yes the connectors are provided of course, xcept for the Halo and LED wires because you need to splice those wires together and wire them to your parking wires.
no, the halos are static. however, if you have fog lights that are activated by a switch or knob, you can splice your halo wires to that. there you have it

@voodoochilesltrtrn
Thanks for the comment! Those are definitely some nice lights(especially since it is my car in video), Thanks for stopping by!
@Ces4r925 yes they do, but you must find the correct size bulb
@trinidaffy Connect them to your parking lights; which is the power that goes on first before your headlights come on. Parking lights are the one click right before the headlights come on. Find the power for them and splice your halo wires to them. Good luck
@4drek you're welcome! and we have more video's coming your way!
yes those wires are for the halos. you would have to use them if you want your halos to work or turn on
Thanks a lot for this tutorial pls continue to do more integra how to's for me I love DIY's :)
@chewbakage you have to remove your HIDs first and swap out the headlights and redo your HID's again. make sure its also the correct bulb size for your new headlights.
@350110thave we do recommend you to use a headlight sealant before installing it to your car. as far as burning out it really doesnt.
We Recommend purchasing a headlight sealant and using it before installing your headlights
Have you put led lights in the aftermarket a head lights yet
@TheOnlyoneeric Thank you for your opinion and yeah i took the halos apart as well I think I might mess around with them and make them better for not that much of a price. can the bulb be changed in these?
@MrEverlast1984 Thank you so much for your comments on the videos. We look forward to bringing you more videos in the near future. Thanks again
I bought a bumper from certifit after I got into a front end collision. Are these things fairly difficult to put on when they are brand new? My reinforcement bar I believe is in good condition still.
I don't see a hole where the OEM housing has a hole so that the bulb goes in and twists to lock. How do you replace lamps if they go out?
@h22amonsterb18c These headlights take H1 Sized bulbs for high and low beams
on the video u just grabbed the extra red and black wire and tuck it in and the halos were working is that right? do u need the extra red and black connected for the halos to work?
@Aztek6191 do u have the link to the video on how to connect the black and red wires???? i need help please..
@matr3ssmeng sorry, those oem's are not for sale.. they were one of our customers.
another question, i live in canada, the daylight running lamp is mandatory. These halo lights have that feature, right?
so the halo ring can stay on as soon as you turn on car if you wire it right?
@1069899 You can find this product at k2motor.com & yes we do allow local pick up!
@Sweetswede15 It could be that your have spliced the lights to the driving lights. So that at night, when the headlights are on; the halo rings and LEDs go off. Have all your lights on at night and tap them into the lights that stay on with the headlights.
will those plug will be included or not included by plugging in the stock plugs?
By replacing the bulb color does it change the halo color??
DDM Tuning has some really good kits for a great price, you should check them out for HIDs. And the cut off line is straight because they are projectors so its a controlled light output instead of just having a bulb and the light bounces everywhere. I think thats whats what you are trying to tell me by a straight line? But yeah check out DDM for some HID's stay around 6K
@TheCardboardGuy These projectors take H1 bulbs, you will not be able to use your stock bulbs
Hi Lucy please watch our how to wire your halos and LED's.
Where do I connect the red and black loose cables???
When you get them on to your car don't forget to post up your picture on k2motors Facebook page! but yes bulbs are included.
no? Where would those wires be located about???
Idk where those red extra wires goes to..should i conect them to the headlights or where??
I have mine in place but each set has 2 random red wires. Where do they go?
So the bulbs from the oem work with the new lens but what happen with the other wires?
do these projectors fit hids??
But I heard that only cars that are factory made with the projector lights are totally legal, but putting them onto the integra is not legal because it's not the original lights. I searched around and people said it's illegal unless the car was made with those lights.
Also, quick question. Do you know what those yellow neon lights that people put on their integra is called? It's so illuminating. I want those lights on my car, but I don't know what they are called.
So do u ever use them? just wondering
did you wire them to the parking lights?

@rhyezkieable only if you wire them to your parking lights.. they should always be on
@arby66 We have an additional instructional video on how to wire your halo's.
hey i need a serious answer here what kinda of h.i.d bulbs should i use on these projectors oh and to also add these headlights to not leak water and all that bul shit these people are saying there great but yea i you could tell me what kind of h.i.d's to use that would be awesome

wish i knew what the white/black ones looked like on the car. I cant decide which one to buy :/
i heard these aftermarket headlights leak in water or burn out fast
@cadviz its at harbor freight for like 6 bucks.
where would those wires i did use the quick connecter but i most have the wrong wires
What year was that model???
Are the halos always on?
very helpfull thanxx
Yes you just gotta get the right HID kit.
if i used these would i still have my h.i.d's that are already installed?
does the cambus hb4 HID kit fit in these headlights?
Do you guys sell front bumpers for Acura integras as well ?
i bought these headlights today, i don't need to wire anything, right?
Will these fit a 1997 gsr 2 dr?
you mean the connectors?
Im not sure what the difference are in the euro version.
Is this working on the european version? (Honda Integra 1.8 Type R)
Can I just splice the halo wires into the low beam ?
thanks
How do I hook these up to my parking light so the halo rings will work
Redskins 4 Life splice into turn signals so when they come on it come on also, it will work with your blinker too.
You didn't show what you did with the extra wires? Because my halos don't light on, only the bulb.
What is the visibility output on these halo lights? I've been told by a mechanic that the light output on halos is much lower than oem integra headlights
I have these halos and yes they are much lower than own headlights in brightness I'd say about 35% dimmer that headlights
Do y’all have some for j fronts?
Umm what about all those unhooked wires you shoved in with the headlights can we get a full tutorial pls????
Hey so i got a question i just put those same headlights in my 96 acura integra. Everything works great but i have one question still, what did i miss to have just the halo rings light up? When i turn the lights 1 click the bottom lights come on, and twoclicks turns the halo rings and the center bulb on. Not a huge deal just wondering how to wire the lights so i can turn just the halo and bottom lights on. If anyone knows how please let me know. Thanks RUclips
So I take it the halos r already grounded?
Yo where can I get this head lights at??
and what is the right HID kit?
then they do not function?
you have to splice the wires since they're not connected to anything.
What's a good bulb to match the halo lights?
bulb color temp and brand?
Okay sorry about that, but actually one of the red wires are negative and the other red wire is positive. I know it sounds dumb but i dont know why it ended up with two red wires.
why would they be? they are featured in newer cars nowadays like the BMW, Acura, Mercedes, etc etc. and HIDs are now standard.
What do i do if i don't want the halo to be on?
Yes we do. Please check out k2motor DOT com
and if i dont wire them?
@minhsteve09 Thanks so much.
@Cameron Kruse... I have the same problem.
Acura integra 95 bumper cover can I put a 2000 cover over and the 2000 head light
@Pamfilo22 Nice lol! I met a guy out in Cali that had a turboed teggy.
