He revisionado el partido casi 30 años despues.España hizo un trabajo defensivo de veras extraordinario de presión alta, marcaje insidioso al hombre y jugar al contraataque, el único fallo fue el del 2gol .Planteamiento muy parecido al concepto inglés de Mou en Madrid: defensa sólida y leñadora, carrileros veloces y punta grandote, es lo que quería Mou con veloceros diMaría Bale Adebayor.Italia jugó mal, sólo eran calidad superior los Baggio,los italianos no pudieron hacer su juego y se asustaron.Fatal como siempre Zubí y Salinas, ademas viejos, Salinas después de la que falló había que cambiarlo.Hubiera puesto a Cañi, y Kiko.Fatal Otero, para eso llevo a Michel o M.Vazquez. Perdimos por que faltaba un mediapunta o un delantero más arriba ,pues los centros no llegaban a nadie, con todo casi ganamos.

Coño pues claro, y al sacarlo salió por Bakero lo que fue un cambio más conservador ,porque Bakero era bastante mas ofensivo que Hierro. En cambio Hierro con cuando jugaba con Clemente en el centro del campo era de corte más defensivo, aunque también tenía mucho gol, como en el Madrid, pero no tanto en jugadas sino a balón parado, Bakero solía jugar mas entre líneas e intentaba aprovechar segundas jugadas.
