Hey just a quick question about your exhaust setup. Is it still feasible to drive without your ears being destroyed at highway speeds for long trips? Just looking for something that makes a good sound bit isn’t too intrusive.
Yes, sure! The external microphone I used for this video was placed very closely to the exhaust tips, so the sound could seems too loud, but in real life it isn't! I choose to remove the middle resonator and to keep the OEM GTI muffler, because IMHO the real sound is very balanced and not exagerated for a daily car.
Need a help man i have a polo tsi77kw when i start up the engine i see smoke coming from the engine bay near the turbo area, but theres no check engine Lights or overheating what it can be????? It has overfilled engine oil I've reduced but it remains the same...
It's not easy to diagnose the problem without checking the car in person. Check if there's one or more broken exhaust manifold stud. The smoke could come from the exhaust gases leaking from there.
@@Chechenyzforthewin03 When I bought the car second-hand with 39.000km I immediately noticed timing chain rattle at cold start-ups. Then I personally replaced timing components with the Skoda upgraded kit (03F198158B), since my car had the older revision components (06/2011-10/2011). 60.000km later, I start to rarely hear a little rattle, but I'm monitoring intake camshaft adaptation values via VCDS and they have increased only a bit, so I have no reason to be concerned. I know people who drove more than 200.000km with this version of timing chain, so I still have many to drive. The key for maintaning the timing components in great conditions is to replace the oil more often. I use to replace oil and oil filter every 10/12.000km or every year and I use Motul 5W40 oil with Mann oil filter.
Nice video btw
A quick question
Have you changed the downpipe is it stock or custom?
Thank you!
I still have the stock downpipe.
Awesome thanks
Any drone?
@@balramkalyanram8647 No drone at all.
Thanks for the reply
Hey nice video I want to make a question too,,I have a polo tsi 1.2 115 hp and someone gave me an exhaust from stock polo gti 1.4 180hp,,is it fit??
Any exhaust workshop will not have problems fitting it on your car.
Just asking if the gti muffler will fit on the original tsi resonator?
I think GTI pipe is 55 mm, stock 1.2 tsi exhaust pipe is 50mm. You can make it fit with adapter, or welding

@@Chechenyzforthewin03 You're welcome!
Hi, just wondering if there was any more information on this? It’s a 1.2 tsi but have you put on a GTI resonator instead?
Hi! I installed a Polo 6R GTI muffler on my Polo 6R 1.2 TSI. Plus to that I removed the original resonator (a.k.a. middle box).
The muffler. Plug and play?
Yes. The original exhaust pipe is Ø47mm. It fits right into the Ø55mm of the GTI Muffler and it stays-in with the help of an exhaust clamp.
Have you got a link to the muffler?
I'm sorry, I don't have a link.
A friend of mine gave me this muffler as a gift.
