  • Many people with small hiatal hernia have no symptoms at all and may never know they have the condition unless it is discovered. When symptoms do occur, the most common symptoms are those arising from gastro-esophageal reflux, which includes heartburn and regurgitation of sour or bitter-tasting acid fluid into the mouth. If you have hiatal hernia, what causes it to flare up? Dr. Vikki shares the causes which you might find alarming!

    I needed this right now. I’m in so much pain😩
    My upper stomach is bloated and sore, with aches in the middle of my chest lower sternum. When I eat the food hurts my esophagus going down. All this is triggering my anxiety & panic😭

    After hiatal hernia surgery I have pain not eating and also pain after I eat. (3-7 pain scale). I can eat the same food and react sometimes and not react others. It's been 4.5 months. Surgeon says this is normal. What's your experience?

    I bought a Kardia mobile device and had numerous possible a fib readings. I wore a monitor for 14 days and was told nope not afib. My doctor wanted to start me on Prozac. I said no! This is an amazing video and not something I would have thought could a contributor. I was believing I really did have heart issue and need to go back to my doctor or find a new one. When I was under 10 years old during an exam ou family doc told my mom I had a hiatal hernia. It never came up again but I am wondering now if this is what my symptoms are about. Thank you!! So much I have somewhere to look other than a fatal heart flaw.

    Maybe in Italy you where in Bergamo(my city) Città Alta, I'm joking 🙂
    I had a hiatal hernia of 3 cm, I have never tolerated antacids, my reflux deteriorates severely, so they operated on Toupet but they had to reoperate urgently for stenosis in Dor, because I have a total absence of esophageal peristalsis (not acalasia, not sclerodermia) of unknown origin, I think it is the fault of gluten because it creates a very strong reflux and many extra intestinal symptoms, but I cannot remove it definitively because I go into severe opioid abstinence, shivering, cold sweat, anxiety goose skin, pains everywhere and muscle cramps .. If you still have only a little advice for to be able to take it off without suffering too much I would be very grateful congratulations for your informative videos 😉

    My question is, why are you so expensive? Your prices are too high. With such prices only very rich people can afford to come to your place, is that how you want it to be? Please try and review your prices.

    • @DrVikkiPetersen
      @DrVikkiPetersen  Год назад +2

      We have reviewed our prices. I have a large staff and excellent doctors that deserve to be paid well. Believe me, I wish I could stay in business and charge less. We don't have a high profit margin at all. We pretty much pay the staff and other bills and that's that. It's expensive to run a business like this.

      Getting my life back was worth every penny!!! I have been to more specialists who all diagnosed me wrong to the point of going into the hospital to find out my heart is ok. I was very short of breath. Not one doctor listened to me. I was admitted to the hospital and the heart doctor did an angioplasty. Surprise! Not my heart. I even got an infection in the hospital. Horrible experience. Thank God I found Root Cause Medical Clinic. I used my savings and it was the BEST money I ever invested!!!!! I am now very healthy and enjoying my life.❤❤❤❤
