Thanks! Since I am a visual learner, this helped me more than the written instructions.

    Thanks Lyza
I learned the latter way. Closing in the two hoops. Which I think is too tight. Especially because I’m a tight crocheter. I really like the first way much better. It looks so much cleaner and less crammed of a stitch. Depending on the garment or project you are working on as well. I did my first hat with the puff stitch and I think it would have been much better of a project for me had I known this before hand. As I’m still learning.
    Thank you again. 😊💜

Thank you for the suggestion of an alternate join at the top--my stitch always stretches out, and that should help.

Good video with nice color contrasting yarn. As a beginner, no words takes a minute to get used to, as reading crochet pattern language comes with experience. No voice is fine for a single stitch.

Hi. That is actually the bean stitch, similar to the puff stitch. The puff is a single crochet in the next stitch so the yarn puffs out & forward. Then a sc. A puff, sc, sc, puff.

You can do it. When you pull the loops, just relax the tension. And when ready to close the top, hold the base of the loops. Yarn over & pull thru all the loops.
