I noticed that GM mode is very subjective in this installment because what some people don’t like about it, other people do depending on their perspective. I haven’t gotten to this mode yet but when I do I’m going to play it for what it is instead of having expectations because that can also kill the experience.

But if you use four level 3 spa days, the wrestler will be out 4 weeks and that’s egregious.

Regular universe which is essentially sandbox mode, a GM version that has this like a draft and competition between brands and satisfying your rosters wants and needs and an assortment of goals, and the final mode could be superstar mode where you play as one wrestler and forge your path through match up, rivalries, and the completion of certain goals. But this has been a daydream of mine since universe mode was first introduced, so don't mind my fantasies. Tbh rn I'm feeling universe mode and gm both really suck, but at least I can play gm because it's goal oriented. Universe mode is just monotonous and I really hate seeing the same exact cutscenes over and over and over and over. Tbh in a true universe mode you should be able to have full control over cutscenes and how your feuds progress and everything, but it's really only in the game at this point so they can say they offer a variety of gameplay.

And one of those games is basically brand new and the other has been out for over 7 years so there's clearly an issue with the 2k series in general.
I love gm mode and this is a nice challenge with the stamina, face and heal, popularity, ect. The only thing I hate is the "rock, paper scissors" style of booking matches, it's so frustrating when I see a really good card or a fun rivalry and not be able to do it because it's a cruiser and a fighter or a giant vs giant feud but I can't do that because the game will score everything very low despite everything else being amazing. It's incredibly annoying and sometimes boring because I have to do the same matches over and over again pretty much or spend money I don't have on a free agent or legend just to do another rivalry or let someone rest it's frustrating I hope it doesn't come back in the next game but I want Gm mode in every game in the future I love it and have loved it since the SvR games
Let´s not forget to mention the worst feature in the MyGM game mode which is being limited to 1 season. Why the F**k only 1 season rather than having infinite seasons? makes no sense. I just lose interest in playing my fav game mode because of this stupid thing
Agreed, if universe showed your roster when you picked superstars , the game mode would be much easier. When I do universe I literally have to use a pen a notebook to track everything
This is actually a great mode. I had more fun with this than the SVR version. They did a good job, and laid a good base to build upon. I’ve played this mode 3x and had fun each time.

Question for you. When drafting, what's the most ideal stamina range? I remember you mentioned it as an important stat to look at when considering who to draft on your roster.
Thanks! There's not really an "ideal range" - it's just the higher, the better. Obviously there comes a point where you prioritize popularity over stamina - I'd rather have a 70 popularity fighter with 50 stamina than a 50 popularity fighter with 70 stamina. But, like always, it's a balancing act! Plate spinning.
ANYTIME you do an interference make it a mid card match. IT ALWAYS gets low ratings even if its a title shot or not. I have never had one go over 3 and a half stars.
Seeing that it was limited to 3 matches kept me from buying it. I still play SvR 2007 because of GM mode. That's the only mode I care about. Universe mode was crap.

What about tag rivalries? Like when I couldn't get a tag rivalry match Happen for whatever reason, and instead of continuing the tag rivalry it ended up having a separate rivalry for the single stars in the tag team. Also someone made a suggestion, try to change everyone (for playing against a friend) to a Specialist so that way you go based on popularity and matches without having to do the stupid matchups that for some reason matter more than the other things(Lame I think, doesn't sound like it was made by wrestling fans)
You can have tag rivalries and single rivalries running at the same time (even for those in tag teams). E.g. it might show Cena with a level 2 rivalry vs Balor and a level 3 rivalry vs Balor/Orton. I thought the Specialist suggestion was good for those looking for realistic rivalries. Personally I just play games and try to beat them - I'm not a WWE fan, I just love GM Mode!

But I tried so hard to get the rating up like you can in universe mode and exhibition. But just can't break 2 stars. Yet I can simulate the matches and get 3 or more. Weird

Trust me I’ve always thought GM mode was a dumb thing fans were begging for when Universe mode exists. GM mode just seemed like it was unnecessarily adding limitations and finances when in UM you have complete freedom to book the show the way you want. But I’ve actually gotten hooked on this. It’s pretty great and you really get sucked into the idea of playing these classes and roles against each other. I’m a Die hard UM fan but I’ve mostly been playing this and I just completed a 50 week season. It’s pretty great when you get used to it and have a full understanding of the logistics.

When I do an interference on a champ during a title match, the belt still changes hands despite it being a dq finish

You will always start to lose fans later in the season due to the 0.95 multiplier

I’m a Die hard UM fan but I’ve mostly been playing this and I just completed a 50 week season. It’s pretty great when you get used to it and have a full understanding of the logistics.

Theyre called matches or contest and wrestlers or preformers. This is not some woke cry.
