Any fresher interested in AI, Try to be active in the community, follow people working with AI, Agents, etc. This is good for getting 10% of the current field, but if you want to be the best in this AI Age: Try to learn more about embeddings, read research papers, build agents, rag apps, Build AI devtools, etc. Play with openai assistants. While doing these follow the roadmap given in the video. Because this field is changing every now and then.

there are many functions and libraries in python exclusively made for machine learning and ai stuff ,in c++ you have many such libraries but they are not to the level of python libraries
I am also a beginner in this field but I can say with confidence you don't require very advanced fancy math.Just learn your undergraduate engineering maths of all semesters sincerely.
