The mic on your phone is clipping the peak of the sound wave. Thats the reason the decibels appear to go down when RPMs go up and the sound is obviously louder.

Only reason I haven’t got this is because I would hate the loud sound.When this new exhaust is ready to be sold as a kit post and I’ll purchase

No, it is still louder. We are working on a new exhaust that is quieter than the Joy.... stay tuned.
