Here is an interview from the prestigious cosmetic conference in Paris called IMCAS. It is every January. Go if you are a dermatologist! You will love it!

Very informative talk. I love how "to the point" she is...She should realise there is a German skincare line out since 2002 called Dr. Baumann cosmetics... her last name is Baumann as well, hence the incorrect congratulations. The latter is an amazing skincare line worth looking into.

Dr. Baumann, Thank you for this detailed talk! I am currently studying to be an esthetician and have two questions about how we address hyper-pigmentation.
If we are using ingredients that, at whichever level, inhibit the melanosomes, does this lead to more richly pigmented clients seeing a reduction in pigment of skin that is not hyper-pigmented - in the long run? So the uninjured skin will lighten as well, changing the client's level of natural pigmentation?
Are their studies that you believe rigorously examine the impact of different concentrations of each of the ingredients referenced in the hyper-pigmentation section? Thank you for your guidance.
