I really agree with the sentiment of this video! Skincare is so much more than just a way to look good. It's also an important part of our overall health and well-being. Our skin is our body's largest organ, and it protects us from the elements, helps to regulate our body temperature, and even helps to fight off infection. I think it's important to find a skincare routine that works for you and your budget. You don't have to spend a fortune on expensive products to have healthy skin. There are plenty of affordable drugstore options that can work just as well. The most important thing is to be consistent with your skincare routine. Even if you can only do a few basic steps each day, it will make a difference in the long run. Thanks for making this video! It's a great reminder that skincare is more than just about vanity. It's about taking care of our health and well-being.

It's not that expensive overall. They don't need to buy Shiseido or some other high-end brand. On an average day, they just need to do their face and only exposed parts, not their whole body. At the least, I suggest their face. The sun ages you more than anything else as far as natural aging goes. Anything is better than nothing.
I love the fact that people of ALL genders are advocating for skincare. I think it should be treated like any other organ-with CARE and RESPECT. Why that may be true for A LOT of cancers, you forgot that our environment can also cause quite a few, regardless of how well you eat. This is from someone who has done their research and eats a whole-food plant-based diet.
Right any time the body is expressing cancer there is a pie of factors that contribute. Covering with sunscreen is something I know better than to do. Another layer of clothing works for me. Sunscreen like geoengineering is not a simple innocent.
I would add that sunscreen is supposed to be reapplied every 2 hours especially if you're swimming or sweating . It's also not full proof and shouldn't preclude other protective measures like wearing hats and sunglasses and avoiding the sun in the height of the day whenever possible . Unfortunately I'm not that motivated about cancer protection but visible signs of aging and I'm right there LOL .
Was great and emphasized sunscreen but I wasn’t clear on how to keep skin clean and moisturized. Do the products in stores actually work? Are the chemicals inside them good or bad?
It’s so privileged and unaware to say skincare isn’t just for the rich, sure, it’s not, but if people struggle putting food in the fridge they’re not buying salicylic acid moisturizers to protect their skins natural barrier when there’s stomach is rumbling struggling !
Beauty is pain there’s times we’re I skipped wanting to eat something so I could save up for something I been wanting for so long .. you won’t die of starving for a day either way and as time passes your body gets used to not eating so much and that’s what you call fasting!! Feels good on the stomach after a while to relax and not have to digest food three times a day every day😅
Funny, people should have a look at countries like Korea and Japan, where women as well as men , without shame, have been using skincare for decades. It's not only about sun-cream, which, can be damaging if used in excess. People cover themselves, use sun-umbrellas or long gloves that are breathable and cooling to cover their arms. Have a healthy and most importantly, balanced diet. Drink green tea which helps with detoxification and generally consume a lot of liquids. Hiking, sports, being out in the nature is also very common. Kids, teens, families spending more time outside is small piece of a big puzzle that essentially creates a healthy person. The west has been making fun of Asians, yet now start to realise why things are done a certain way and later give speeches as if they've just discovered the secret. Davis is doing well for trying to dismantle the idea that skincare is for everyone, but he should definitely do more research.
The simple advice is usually the best: stay hydrated, stay out of the sun, and plain old soap and water (I don’t trust all the chemicals in those products anyway). Maybe I’m a bit old fashioned, but hey.
He centered his talk around skin cancer, it's understandable in america, but what about skin care in countries like India. Are the precautikns same or different, could someone share resources about skin care measures for a person in India?
Now that more people are probably going to wear sunscreen, we need a video that explains what chemicals in many sunscreens are likely to cause or be a factor in getting cancer.
I mean....more or less..just like all around health is also a luxary at this point. Covering all bases of your bodies health without totally breaking the bank and being broke for another two months after is how it is these days. Health is a luxary, it shouldn't be, but sadly it is. Now will if pay a grand or more to get to where I need to be to be healthy? Yes, because health is a necessity to do the things you need to do in this life both wants and needs. Health is a luxary for people who have money, but it also becomes a luxary when you realize how much you haven't been taking care of it. Love your body you guys in any way possible health wise.
