Switchfoot has songs that you can listen to no matter how you feel, and they're all good. I've never heard anything like their music before, and I'm very glad I grew up listening to them!
In all of your songs there always seems to be a scarlet thread of lyrics that flesh out this theme. It's not just this song that speaks of hope but your whole discography. You have been singing of this Light shining through for many years and in doing so your music has been a constant navigator, pointing to something bigger than ourselves and the situations we found ourselves in.
I love every Switchfoot song but this one rings so true

The vocals are crazy on this recording! Everything from actually seeing Drew singing, to Tim sounding like a down home gospel choir there at the end, to Jon's amazing voice that just gets better with age. 10/10 will watch 1,000 more times probably
