    If only the performance figures were in line with how good the bike looks, would be a real winner!

    Excellent review brother.
    That looks like quite a bit of bike for the expected outlay considering the quality
    and spec . Cheers for that one .

    Greetings from the Philippines, great review! 🙂. The button you used switching between two dashbords is actually switching between eco and sports mode. Sports mode has a different throttle response and feels more "zippy" in my experience.

    I have the CFMoto 250nk, Its was a bit sluggish on top end until I broke it in a bit, They are bit tight on the engines n gears when new, But after I dropped the running in oil and did 600 miles the Engine really livened up alot and top speed went up and it climes faster too, The gears are lovely n smooth now also.
    Im not sure but I think they must use a thick running in oil .....as after first service with good semi-sync oil it was like new bike....Loves to rev , They seem to have nailed the handling too.
    I am happy with my CFMoto its been a great bang for buck bike, All these Euro emissions are choking our bikes..!! Could go electric .....but I like to ride more than 8 miles in a day.!!
    Thanks for vids, Thumbs up

    Looks nice. The quality of these bikes seems to go in the right direction all the time.
    Are you sure about the top speed? My CB300R produced almost identical power and torque figures yet topped out at around 90mph in calm air 85mph with a headwind (private road). True, that was a naked bike so a little less slippery. I suppose it's academic, but it does indicate how relaxed - or otherwise it is at 70mph

    We "Generation X" had "ton-up 250s" back in the day. Then again, we did destroy the planet in the process. They never looked that pretty though. And they rarely lasted 20k miles before going for scrap.

    • @fatndaft

      I was thinking along the same lines. Similar power and speed to my old RD250LC, but with at least triple MPG

    • @PhilipBallGarry
      @PhilipBallGarry 3 года назад

      Good points. But to be fair these were two stroke twins and triples - you get more bang for your buck with a two stroke. I remember being on my GS400E and a KH250 passed me like I was standing still 😭😂

    • @motorcyclewild5873
      @motorcyclewild5873 3 года назад +2

      @Nichen Fauster not talking shit. Just that a bigger engine can handle motorway speeds better.

    • @motorsforthemasses
      @motorsforthemasses  3 года назад +5

      @@motorcyclewild5873 Not to be a fence sitter here but I see both points. On one hand with a bigger engine, yes consistent motorway speeds with less engine stress, and dangerous fun (take that as you will). On the other hand, with enough power to reach motorway speeds and still beyond, the lighter, smaller cc bikes are equally fun, especially in the twisties, cheaper to buy and run, and less likely to get into rozzer problems or other issues, but can sound a bit farty.

      @@motorsforthemasses I have a cg150 wich I love so iam not against small bikes but that was my point at pushing a 299cc engine at 70mph for a long period of time will cause engine failure. Would be fantastic around town and B roads. If I could get my hands on one in Lincoln I'll definitely take one for a test ride

    • @chrispekel5709
      @chrispekel5709 3 года назад +3

      @@motorcyclewild5873warm it up and a well built smaller engine will last at 70mph for a long time. Engine wear is tiny once oil is lubricating properly.

    Awesome to hear your views on this one! Almost almost almost got one of these last summer, but got an R3 instead. Had only singles before so I wanted a twin. Glad these little bikes are in the U.K. now, almost all round a great looking bike, especially the like blue one as well, except I don’t like the angle of the tail section. Hope they sell well and they will think of doing a 650 based on the 650NK. Have you seen the 700CL-X as well?

    Those vents at the front are there for the creation of turbulants of airflow that enable windige that becomes apparent whilst leading for take off, said turbulants then travel along lower side of saddle to enable the removal of farts, said farts are blown through to the G 5 phone holder at the rear thus severing any connections to you and the lethal guff you have transmitted to the car behind, with the movement of airflow and the rate of knots you have reached the airflow with attached offending hitch hiker will be force fed in to the car behind air con, nice touch. ;0 )
