    I recently bought the CFMOTO 300Nk after downsizing from a Benelli BN600GT 4 cylinder as I mostly commute each day and do the occasional weekend ride. The 300NK is considerably lighter and a lot more fun to ride and share the KTM design company KISKA (and CFMOTO make the lower cc KTM dukes). I live in Canberra in Oz and look forward to riding to and from work each day again. I am 55 and been riding all size bikes since I was 3 and I really enjoy this bike. I bought a small black handlebar mounted screen and fitted Barkbuster Storm bar mounted hand guards and the 300 looks even meaner and now has great wind protection. Highly recommend this little bike as it is zippy enough now that it is run in and is just pure fun. At $5k on road with 12 months rego, it is a no brainer.

      Great review. I'm in Sydney and considering one. Have you ridden to Syd on it? I go to Canberra now and again and wouldn't mind the ride.

      @@YetMoreCupsOfTea I haven't ridden to Sydney on it, just a few weekend cruises around the region and commuting. It is quite zippy around town and much more fun to ride than my previous 600cc four cylinder. I do miss the extra horsepower, but you can't have it all. The small screen and hand guards I fitted take a lot of wind off the chest and hands in our minus 6 degree mornings and it still looks mean. Enjoy.

      I test rode this bike at a CFMOTO demo event and really enjoyed the 300NK what a efficient fun bike to ride and even at freeway speeds it seemed to hold its own and handling gave me extreme confidence in city traffic and all controls appeared to be perfectly positioned and I am extremely interested in hearing from real owners all over the world on there CFMOTO owner experiences and maintenance issues etc.

    I bought this as my first bike 4 weeks ago (I have the USA Version) All my friends like it, it looks great and I find it very easy to ride. For a 300, it's much faster than I though it would be but then again, this is my first bike. I added a short windshield that helps a lot for highway driving.

      i'm still trying to decide exactly how girlish it is.. anything over a 4 on the girlish scale and its a no[pe for me. the black and coffee colour looks great too ("midnight black"), although i wish they had coloured the frame on that too

    Very funny Boss! All your reviews are very comprehensive & with humour! Very entertaining. This is a little bike I would love as a runabout. We have these in Aus. CFMoto UK are really pushing the release in the market. A strong brand with very well priced machines. That is a very eye catching colour scheme! Thanks 👌

    Bought one of these nice bike had it just over a year. Have replaced the exhaust with a stainless one and added a screen and levers plus a tail tidy for a much neater look. Only one issue the battery is on the way out and disappointingly only has a six month warranty on it not four years like the rest of the bike.

    Some articles on these CFMoto bikes say the company is very open to feedback and improvement, so comments like "just put stainless exhaust on it from the beginning" are likely to get back to the head office and they will improve. But as-is their bikes seem to be winning the quality/cost battle - they very much want to prove a China-based brand can be quality and have dealer support. Here in my corner of the US, every dealership has suddenly started carrying them, and I'm going to strongly consider this model vs. a MT03 or Z400 for a new bike. It's hard for me to even find a decent used bike at their price point.
    Thanks for the good review and info!

    A sharp looking bike, happen to think the tail looks much nicer than on the CFMoto SR300. Comparing to the Yamaha MT-03 and Honda CB300R very nicely, which are manufactured in Indonesia and Thailand respectively. As for the exhaust, I really like the low slung placement of it, much more so than Yamaha’s and Honda’s offerings. Looks are personal to some degree, in my opinion it looks nicer than both the Honda and Yamaha. I would really welcome a retro to this range, something like the CB350 H’Ness, but not like the CFMoto 700 CL-X, which I really don’t like the looks of. Again looks are subjective and personal.
    Great review as always! With additional wackiness added in the middle!!

    Where is your dealership located? I have been thinking about getting a cf bike but i am really concerned about the aftercare support offerred in the U.K. I have heard horror stories about the cfmoto buggies such as someone waiting 7 months for a repair to be told of that his warranty period would soon expire and warranty claim would end up straight into the bin.
    Having mentioned “warranty” nothing is mentioned about it in the official uk website of the brand, while some dealers advertise 4 years of warranty and others 12 months for the same model( new, unused).

    • @motorsforthemasses
      @motorsforthemasses  2 года назад

      Hi, all bikes have a 4 year warranty, quads different. I don't get involved in those. Parts haven't really been an issue for us for bikes...not that we have needed many. We are in Lowestoft, UK.

  • @gerryattrickbiker
    @gerryattrickbiker 3 года назад +5

    I actually think that looks good value at that price point, I do applaud WK for letting CF moto make its own way and build the brand in the UK. It does really need to get itself on the buyers shopping lists. I realise it's a "chicken and egg" scenario cost wise but think a marketing push would help. Some would say a year old BMW G310 could be bought for similar money but I'm no longer convinced that Indian built bikes are any better than these improving Chinese brands.
    My only neg here is that rear number plate/semi mudguard. I'm Still on the fence! Sorry.

    Hi, my name is Marcelo, I'm from Bs As Argentina, I recently got an NK300 and I'm really amazed at its agility too, I noticed it was very funny until I accelerated a lot in 100 meters and in the corner I felt like I wasn't going to brake it as I did with my yamaha 150cc, I don't know if it's because I still don't have my hand on braking or that the bike is bigger or because it has ABS and brakes differently or because it has few km...approximately 280km the brakes are still not matched, the truth is that I was scared and now I am more careful, I would like to know if you noticed that too, after everything else I think that I am quite satisfied except that it is a bit noisy engine, I took it to my private mechanic so I could hear the engine and he told me it was fine...it was normal so I'll have to get used to a couple of new things, thanks for the video and a big hug friend 🇦🇷🧉👍

    The industry desperately needs smaller cc engine bikes like this “Canny” machine. Not only for the young but everyone, considering how the internal combustion engines are being demonised in today’s world.
    The wife especially likes the colour and she said you must be “Mad” jumping about like that at the beginning. And I have to agree because that’s why I watch you and the channel 😉
    Keep it up.. Crack!

    This bike retails for about the same as the Yamaha XSR155, here in the Philippines. Costing roughly £2250, depending on the exchange rate. Have to say that I don't think there's anything that can touch it for value for money vs performance. The only downside is that the dealer network, outside of Luzon, is rather poor. I'm looking to buy a new bike, in the 250-400cc category, and this is certainly on my list. Update. There's a new CFMOTO dealership opened up, about 50 miles up the road. I had a bit of a mooch, and am quite taken by the NK's new cousin, the 300 CLX. So much so, that I will almost certainly order one in the next month or two.

    On the subject of bike gender, I know lots of people refer to their bikes as she/her, I never felt I should, until the addition of the latest bike. She's so beautiful, she has automatically assumed the female pronoun. The other bikes, including my ktm, brilliant bike that it is, never seemed to warrent any gender pronoun. The new addition is a Scorched yellow Triumph 955i daytona.
