Croatia jokes aside, I think that this is really telling of England and France’s strategy… They clearly just try to push as much as possible until they burn themselves out. That’s why I like teams like Argentina better. Argentina starts off slowly to wear the other team down and pushes more in the second half once their opponent is tired. Rather than applying brute force, they act intelligently and try to win with strategy.
