Today we are making some stone stairs that are modular! This D&D terrain tutorial is only on Dice Chatter!
This modular stair terrain build is perfect for tabletop games such as Frostgrave and Dungeons & Dragons!
This is a great way to get started in making some tabletop terrain for new folks and those that are experienced tabletop crafters as well.

Finally, the step-by-step guide we needed...👀
Anytime Robby! I appreciate the mats! They are fantastic!
spiral staircase is brilliant, nice one
Been needing this for so long! thank you for the guide and Inspo!
Anytime Fables! Happy to be of service 🤓
@@DiceChatter btw where did you get your scatter skulls?
Games workshop skulls!
Awesome build, those stairs look really good!
Thanks Daydam! I really do appreciate it!
Real nice! That's a lotta stairs.
Yeah, it took a minute to build all of these.
Lovely build and such a very useful addition to the terrain! 🤩
Thanks a lot! Appreciate the comment!!!
These look really great, I haven't seen these designs. Thanks!
I’m glad to hear you enjoy them!
Lovely build Donny, that sandstone color looks great. I was a little worried about the job update, At first I thought that you got laid off but I guess you're just traveling. :)
Thanks Dave! And no worries buddy, just been busy!
It's got a nice terracotta color, while being varied enough to not look wholly uniform.
As always, a spectacular video! Can't wait for the next one.
Thanks a bunch! I’m looking forward to it as well!
These are super cool! Definitely going to try some of these techniques!
This is awesome! Glad to hear!
these look so cool, and really practical too. maybe i'll try something similar
Happy to hear! Good luck with your creations!
This is exactly what I needed to see. I've got a very Escher-like scenario I want to do, and this breaks it all down into an easy project. Thanks!!! **subscribed**
Timing is everything, isn't it???
Glad it was helpful Metajock! And welcome!
I see you are stepping up your game... I will see my self out.
No please... Come back... I miss you.
@@DiceChatter if you insist
What a build! Great stuff mate!
Cage! Thanks as always buddy!
I saw these over on reddit a minute ago. I instantly thought "There is something I've never seen." Terrain can get a bit repetitive and it's refreshing to see something fresh. I've been in kind of a terrain slump, but I've got a gallon bag of precut pretextured brick that would be perfect for this.
Well, hell GWiz! Glad to give you a little inspiration buddy!
nice stairs!
Thank you powersave!
Good stuff! I hope blue wizard doesn't mind climbing 3000 bricks worth of stairs!
He could use the exercise.
With great scenery tutorials, the best bat reps on RUclips, that can be followed even when not familiar with that particular games rule system, good humour and great editing. This channel is destined to blow up or my dice doesn't have 20 sides! Keep adding the great content my man 🧙
Hahahha! What a comment! Really do appreciate it.
I love this
I... I... Love you.
You definitely won the stairing contest here. Is this the first we see of an eventual desert-themed table, or do they blend in next to your previous builds?
Haha! Nice pun! Also, there will be a few “desert” things I’ll be making in the future!
Love the guide. Hate that I'm going to spend the next two nights making bricks.
Sorry Matt… throw on a good podcast in the background!
@@DiceChatter Just finished hardcore history. I'm open to podcast recommendations.
The Blue Wizard and Donnie have the same tattoo?!?!
Yeah, that wizard is quite the copycat.
MC Escher approves (probably).
Now I just got to figure out how to support these stairs upside down…
My Wizard casts PUSH !
And my apprentice fails all his spells!
@@DiceChatter Awesome, my apprentice begins spamming Crumble.
This build looks really cool, What kind foam did you use for it?
Just used basic home insulation foam. The pink stuff you can grab at any home improvement store.
Please make some stargrave battle reports. I love you content but I am a Sci-fi guy
Things like this take time. Unfortunately, I don't have the minis, time, or terrain to push out a new game on the channel. But it is on my list of future projects I'd like to tackle.
😘👌 that is all
Haha! More to come Robbie!
