The things that Kyrgios says here are true, the problems comes when he creates hating on social medias. First of all there's difference between contamination and doping, second it is true that some players were treated differently for the "same" cases (cuz each cases has their own differences but the topic Is doping), but the problem is not that Jannik and Iga were treated differently, but why the other players are not treated like the ones i mentioned. I think Jannik and Iga were contaminated and rightfully they can defend and demostrate their innocence, the problem here is that the other players couldn't do the same, not the opposite. In conclusion Nick should have talk and criticize the high figures of tennis and not the players, specifically Sinner.
Contamination is a mistake but still has punishment by the anti doping low. The biggest problem is that the same case can be treated so differently and if your medical team makes a mistake it is your mistake, you are responsible...that is what most of the people don't know.
I know this well, but does it seem right to you? Think about being a professional tennis player: your job includes training, following a diet and playing seasonal matches. You have a team of people, which you obviously chose, who take care of your athletic, physical and healthy preparation. Obviously you delegate the work you are responsible for to professionals, it is the responsibility of the team and in particular of the physio not to use products banned from tennis. If something, as in this case, happens, the team members who allowed this to happen must take responsibility for it, not the player. The tennis player has not studied medicine and knows what goes into his body, it is neither in his skills nor in his responsibilities as a player. I speak for myself but I know very well that I can speak for you too, we constantly rely on others, when you go shopping, when you go to the mechanic, when you go to the hospital, when you go to the dentist etc., you constantly rely on professionals on things that concern you but isn't it your responsibility if a professional makes a mistake in his field? you cannot have the skills in everything so the fact that Sinner and others have to pay them because someone else made a mistake for them is absolutely wrong and the doping and contamination rules for players must be changed.
@@gianlucapugliese3934 Only rich tennis players have a team that cares about what they put in their bodies, the other 95% do it themselves. There is a list of prohibited things and products that are in the markets, it is available to everyone to see, you don't need to be a doctor. Your team is legally you, you chose them to do the job for which you are responsible before the law, so if they make a mistake, it means that the mistake is yours. So it was your responsibility and by handing it over to someone else it will not help you get away legally or logically, because it is the responsibility of the player.
@Esoteric_Athlete i remind you that the amount of clostebol found in Sinner body was a billionth of a gram, so to have enough to gain something, he should be doping way before Indian Wells, which means he was doping while there wasn't a tournament, very clever.
On one occasion, I was apprehended by law enforcement officers for a breathalyzer test. Surprisingly, the results indicated that I had consumed a negligible amount of alcohol in my system. I was shocked as I have never and will never consume alcohol. I also refrain from eating foods that contain alcohol. I will never allow the law to find me guilty. Then I realized that I had applied sanitizer to my hand! Therefore, I always believe that Jannik is not responsible for the mistakes made by his physiotherapist.
The big 3 were never accidentally contaminated. So if this is not solved fast it tarnishes an amazing image built by the big 3 for the sport. And by Pete Sampras.
Why did Halep get banned for years yet Sinner and Swiatek get a pass? If one gets banned, they should all get banned regardless of their ranking and their sellability.
First of all, Swiatek took a drug( not a supplement) melamine, that was contaminated and was able to prove it quickly and she had the lowest level of the banned substance ever recorded, also she was not playing when tested. Halep was playing at us open and could not provide evidence of contamination of the supplement for 4 months after she was banned, and not to mention she did not disclose the supplement on doping control form when giving sample at us open, she said she forgot... It's hard to argue that when you take a pharmaceutical drug you would expect it to be contaminated. Supplements on the other hand are not as rigorously tested so they do carry a risk.
Glad to hear a more reasonable Kyrgios who however remains superficial about what he considers a BIG ISSUE for him and his beloved sport! The Sinner case makes adundantly clear there is no player's fault or intention. Fullstop. That is the KEY ISSUE for a set of accusations as aggressive as Kyrgios' over many months! As to why differing standards for top players and others, again even a baby would know the answer. We are talking about the MOST PRIVATE sport of all, with massive PRIVATE SECTOR PRIZES these players are happy to earn. Inevitably, there are inadequate "systems" to deal with problems, as this wobbly WADA institution demonstrates, so that RICH PLAYERS can pay RICH LAWYERS whereas lesser players cannot. Add to this that some players cooperater fully and others do not or cannot... The system must be improved but reading the papers I find inexcusable that players should not stand with SINNER more openly. If the issue is morality, fairness and sportmanship,it is hard to imagine a better rep thatn Jannick Sinner.
I agree with you, and no matter what the ultimate outcome is, it will be impossible to unsully his image. Some people are just assuming that he’s guilty, and no amount of science will convince them otherwise. It’s disgusting.
Kyrgios is absolutely right when he talks about preferential treatment thanks to his fame, expensive lawyers and a 2-year sentence. In fact, 2 years are foreseen for domestic violence, not disqualification, but prison, and this for violence against his ex-girlfriend, a crime for which he was tried in February 2023 in the Canberra court. His expensive lawyers, after failing to prove that the facts did not occur, brought forward the thesis of mental infirmity, a thesis that was accepted, therefore he was acquitted on the grounds that he had committed "a single act of stupidity and frustration" and not for not having committed the act. (and if anyone still hasn't understood, the victim is called Chiara Passari and the accused Nick Kyrgios)
There is no doping case for Jannik. For the ITF he is innocent and so is WADA. WADA has appealed because he must be punished also for a mistake of one of his subordinates... Stop saying Sinner and doping, it is a no sense.
So Kyrgios knows about some banned substances that miraculously cure injuries. If I had known, I would have asked him about it when I broke my leg, since I don't play tennis and they didn't test me.
Not just Kyrgios, It has been known that steroids makes healing incredibly fast compared to without it. It has been documented in so many sports, the thing is if you are just a normal person and not a world class athlete where the window for competing is very important then it wouldn't be that helpful. Conor is one of the recent examples who broke his leg clean and stuffed himself with steroids above the amount needed for just healing, and they reap the benfits from those drugs while they are outside of the testing pool. Some athletes abuse that loophole that is why it is controversial at times.
Apparently no one, no one has read the documents reporting this case. but in any case talking about it today shows that perhaps someone fears the clash on the pitch

If such a tennis player and man comments something like this, he has the right to do so, and if he commented in a negative sense, he probably has a reason for it.
I dont agree with Kyrgios but I think what he is saying here it's legitimate unfortunately he s taken a very personal hostile position against Jannik which is kind of laughable. If the system does not work it's not Jannik or Iga s fault
He fired the guy after the news broke. Something is fishy.
Agree. Disgusting players. Disgusting cheaters. Sinner and Seiatek must be banned 2-5 years minimum.

Just because you don't know the facts and the rules

@@rationalist4485 A quick debunking about what frustrated Nick said:
1) "They try to cheat, they're done for doping" Nope, both Jannik and Iga were cleared for intentional doping and processed for negligence-. Doping case is over.
2) "Performance enhancing" Nope, in both cases a team of experts confirm that the amount cannot affect the performance in any way; also both Jannik and Iga were tested during all the year tens of times and still win everywhere
3) "Failed two tests" The fact the two testes were in 8 days span with the same micro-amount confirm the contamination, because Sinner got several massage during the week. In case of intentional doping, he must have been a big amount in the first test and some traces in the second.
4) "They took prize money and points, so they're not innocent" Nope, due to the ATP rules if you fail a test they took points and prize money for that tournamente before any investigations.
Nick, nobody hates you because you speak the truth, they hate you because you talk without any knowledge just to try desperately to stay relevant ten
@@scara19 Under which law is Sinner not culpable for any fault or negligence, which WADA has now taken up in right earnest.
@@rationalist4485 Negligence is not doping. For the Independent Tribunal, Sinner was cleared also for negligence, then WADA appeal. Doping case is over, so everything Kyrgios said is wrong, period
Contaminated? Or enough of it left the system by the time they were tested? So the small amounts could easily be excused as contaminated ?
Good on you Nike and Novak stand up for truth.
EXACTLY!!
Nick Cheerios. Big mouth, small facts. A classic
Any true tennis fan should agree with him on this. It's a shame for the sport to have two number ones involved.
Kyrgios is not stupid, but he’s a teenager who is about to turn 30.
I agree with you, and no matter what the ultimate outcome is, it will be impossible to unsully his image. Some people are just assuming that he’s guilty, and no amount of science will convince them otherwise. It’s disgusting.
The ITF needs to take some responsibilty, yeah right. This is a disaster.
His argument was ok until he started throwing mud & accusations at his colleagues, no need for that.
Nick is right on this one 💯
Gaining cheap publicity attacking others
Disgusting players. Disgusting cheaters. Sinner and Seiatek must be banned 2-5 years minimum.

I'm sorry about the message but I'm so mad but i think you get what i was saying let's get tennis back the way it was be fear to every player
You need an education
