I would say he's lucky to be managing the best teams and always have the resources to get any player he wants. Barca (with messi, xavi and Iniesta), Bayern the best in Germany even before he was there and at Man City he had the money to get any player he wants. He's good but not better than Klopp, and I'm not a Liverpool fan.

Mad scientist and a true tactician of the game.
If a player is talented, works hard and listens to what Pep shows them, then they will start looking like world class under his structure.
People can talk about spending but Man city have shopped well, especially over the last 5 years. The trophies show this.

Now it's easy to say Oil Money Man City when prior to his arrival they all said his football wouldn't work in England but instead he has gone on to absolutely dominate & destroy whatever notion of superiority English football had, the dominance he has displayed in England supersedes that of his previous Clubs & Leagues where Farmer's League accusations where always thrown at them. He has done to English football what other Leagues around the world were consistently accused of, he has done it a fashion that is undeniable and irrepressible, creating different versions of the team and yet remaining utterly dominant, but oh well Oil Money City 🤷🏾‍♂️

@@Akan123 pep is a great manager no doubt, but he will never shift the accusations of having it handed to him on a silver platter. Took over the greatest ever team in history - with mostly homegrown stars (nothing to do with pep). Then was handed a team in Germany who win the league 9/10 times, and buy all their biggest rivals players. A true one team boring league the bundliga. And then took over at Man City, the team who financial doped the most in England, signed £200 million of wing backs in his first year, and only won 1 champions league.
He’s a great manager no doubt, but he’s had a silver spoon his whole life. He will never be the greatest for me as he was handed his whole career on a silver platter. He didn’t have to work his way up the lower leagues, win the champions league twice with a team like Nottingham Forest (greatest manager is Brian clough)

All managers need great players that fit in their systems in order to deliver, so if you hate Pep so be it but don’t talk nonsense

For everyone saying Pep is the best, i disagree. He has had unlimited funds and buys the best players and trains them to make 0 mistakes and play the percentages.

So he wouldn’t forgive himself for leaving city when the title is gone but he can forgive himself for letting his wife go after 30 years for a team of cheats in a foreign land. What a guy eh. Difference between him and Sir Alex is fergie quit when his wife needed him. It’s not Barcelona are they worth losing the last 30 years for definitely not.

@@beard6160Exactly the point. Chelsea assembled a very expensive set. Yet no one is chastising Enzo Maresca. Only two players in Enzo Fernandez and Caicedo are worth over 210 million pounds. Arteta brought in a lot of expensive buys like Rice , yet no one is yelling insults at him.
