A very interesting insight, I owned a MG F for over 10 years (Rover I suppose in reality) absolutely loved it! - I often think of the long history of MG and how that great marque has finished up when I see those MG badged Chinese cars on the road here in the UK what a shame!
There used to be a very large open area behind the MG works where they stored all the rally cars, not MG's, but I recall seeing Pat Moss Maxi and an eighteen hundred endurance rally car parked up. No doubt they are all in museums now, this was back in the early 1970's. I enjoy your vids, well done
I don’t think I’ve ever seen the car club shown like this on RUclips - nice work Henry! BTW the birth place of the MG was actually up the road in Oxford, but came to Abingdon in 1930 - so yeah, the birth place of the MGB and so many other MGs we all know and love 😁👍
That's a great video, been wanting to go there for a long time. Might get the chance in May next year as there is Jubilee and LE model event in Abingdon....museum look great...cheers TF

@@robbell4339 good point, well made 😂 maybe a title change is in order! I suppose I’m only 2 years out!
@ nah! It’s fine. Besides, no one can agree when MG actually started making cars. Probably 1924… 😂
Cool, cheers 🍻
@@poppydogz thanks!
Visited 30 years ago on an MG tour of all places Morris at Oxford
It’s great isn’t it!
Amazing how they produced a world beating car in such a small factory and offices.
@@bernardcharlesworth9860 100% agree amazing really.
