I agree, I love when people talk about art lock not being real! I would only add as a person who works in freelance for the past seven years have to add that it’s not 100% guarantee that your will feel that freedom and “cozy” experience. It’s pretty anxious job when you don’t know if you will get any money next month or if you cant yet control your work hours and you overwork and always feel like you are at work. It takes awhile to find that place where you can save up, feel that confidence and not overwork.
And another thing, I think it’s important to ask yourself more questions! Like, sure, you might not be able to sit and start working because it’s uncomfortable in the house, but what if you lack some information and that stops you? Or maybe you have too high expectations and you will punish yourself cruelly if you wont achieve them (and that makes you freeze and not do anything, because you don’t feel save with yourself), or maybe you don’t like the idea but feel like you have to finish it anyway and so on. “Art block” can just be a simple problem that we don’t want to look at

Ohhhh I love alllll of this. I am SO HERE with you on the freelancing thing -- I've talked about in my other videos that you need to implement contracts in your freelance work and focus on retainer-based freelancing work so it is more predictable. @MyNameIsDeya has GREAT video son this I'll link the playlist below. But YES, it also matters about the actual people you're working with and the type of work.
And yes about the expectations! This is why I always like breaking things down into steps and only focusing on what you can control. I.e, you can't control "I want to make $10,000 in a year!" but you can control "I'm going to apply to 3x freelancing jobs a day," etc.
Thank you so much for this!! And here's that playlist just in case you're interested:

OMG! So cool that you can identify that now... I definitely have tension in many of them multiple times a month/week/day! 😅
