It's obvious that many singers have a God given talent... but it just seems to me He gave her more. Of course, she put in the time to train her voice and perfect her stage presence... so "hat's off" to her.
I completely agree with you, Slow Down is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard, especially with Sissel.
I hope you still remember me. My long silence was due to a prolonged illness. I'm back now to congratulate you on the excellence of your selection I absolutely agree and unconditionally.

Sissel is an extraordinary person and perhaps the finest singer of my lifetime!! Thank you for all of your excellent work commemting about this wonderful person. Her beautiful soul is always in evidence whenever she sings!!!
I've made it my goal for the rest of my life (however short that might be) to compile as many Sissel videos as I can so she can be a blessing to everyone on this earth... or at least for those that watch RUclips videos.

Like MOST Sissel fans (obviously yourself included), I FULLY feel and agree that, once you have heard Sissel perform a song, all others after that are "found wanting" !! I also, LOVE all five of these songs and heartly approve of your choice (a VERY hard choice, I am sure). I once told someone that I would be VERY hard pressed to select one of Sissel's "BEST" performances because practically EVERY one, in its OWN right, is "BEST" !! 🥰🥰🥰
I don't know if you saw my reply to your comment on The Impossible Dream but I took it down, fixed the mistake and uploaded the corrected version. Thanks for pointing it out to me. When I saw the original video the date showed January 15, 2020. I saw the "15" and mistakenly put it as the year.

An excellent selection! I feel that a lot of thought & reflection went into this selection. I would also placed "Slow Down" at the top of the list. Since so many great singers have sang "You Raise Me UP", I have the bookmark "You Raise Me UP" under Music. I agree Sissel's version is the best. It is like being the best among contemporary gold medalists. Please take good care of yourself so that we can postpone playing "Going Home" and that you can continue to enrich our lives with your programs. You make a difference!

It's not realistic to limit a category to just five, but then the video would be too long if I included ALL the ones I like... which is almost everything of course.
I am so happy to see that someone else enjoys the absolutely phenomenal voice that Sissel employs for our enjoyment. I stumbled onto your channel because I saw the thumbnail of her face and I can hardly turn down an opportunity to hear her sing almost any genre so effortlessly.
Like you, I am also dealing with cancer. Although I am in remission, at 77 years old it will ultimately be a losing battle, since mine is incurable. I have been a singer all my life and her voice, tone and vocal technique are flawless. I am experienced enough to be able to appreciate her vocal production and old enough to feel the healing in her voice.
Thanks for taking your time to focus on this astonishingly gorgeous woman with the tremendous talent.
Did you watch my video Sissel - the GOAT? If not, I think, you being a singer, will appreciate my take on why I believe she is the Greatest Singer of All Time. I also believe that my cancer may well win the battle... but while I'm here I want to make as many inspirational and encouraging Sissel videos that I can so others may be blessed even after I'm gone.
I too, am a survivor of 15 years and would say that faith & Sissel's voice have helped me hang in there. I hope to hear her in concert (DV) this April.
Slow down is my favorite of hers. I do also really like My tribute too. I will be sure to make time to watch those other videos- but you could just do a reaction video on them and save me having click on the links DCB!
It's not too hard to click on a link when you know Sissel is on the other side. As they say in Norway, "Bare gjør som jeg sier."
Great fun. Like what you're doing, the hardest category of Sissel song to slim down to 5. Leaving out Xmas helps. I go for purely Christian ones to make it easier still.
I agree with your selections, My Tribute & Slow Down and you mention, Amazing Grace ( ruclips.net/video/7DFQRBXZa9Y/видео.html I think her best) Mine includes, The Holy Wings, where the 21 year old astonishes with the power of her voice. I too have 2 number ones: Eg Veit i Himmerick ei Borg (I know in Heaven a Castle) The Swedish TV one is one of her best ever performances of any song... so cool yet passionate & soulful. ruclips.net/video/Lx5UkP3VhKu/видео.html And, Eg Ser, (I See) is just ineffable.
