- Here is a acoustic improvisation inspired by the spray of the sea on the shore of Brittany.
The instrument is a harp / lyre 13 strings by the workshop Skald.
With which I would challenge to interpret instrumental legends dear to my heart and inspire me =)
here's my instrumental interpretation of the myth of the city of Ys.

Voila une petite improvisation acoustique inspirée par les embruns de la mer sur la grève bretonne.
L'instrument est une Harpe / lyre 13 cordes réalisée par l'atelier de lutherie Skald.
Avec laquelle je me lance le défi d'interpréter de façon instrumentale des légendes qui me tiennent à cœur et qui m'inspirent =)
voici mon interprétation instrumentale du mythe de la ville d'Ys,

This was so beautiful. If only there was some way to reduce the glaring "eeeeeee" noise that distracts from your wonderful mastery over that lyre.
Telaros I am no expert just a lever harpist with an interest in the ancient CeltIc harp. I think that the eeee or hum is sympathetic resonance from the other strings. Quite common on metal strung Harps. Like the brays on medieval Harps a sound that is alien to us now and an acquired taste. Superb video though. More please.

C'est un animal dont je suis très proche, je tenais a le sculpter sur ma lyre afin qu'il m'accompagne partout. =)

Ce qui est marrant c'est que lorsqu'il y a du vent, il souffle un peu sur les cordes et produit un son sans qu'on joue. C'est magique.

Superbe ! Les cordes en metal sonnent vraiment bien et résonnent. Ce qui est super, c'est que la lyre est un instrument assez facile à jouer et on peut improviser aisément. Cet instrument est de votre conception ? Il est génial !

Effectivement, ça donnerait plutôt une sorte de harpe. Parfois on confond encore lyre et harpe. Mais la harpe a bien plus de cordes. Oui, j'ai bien accordé comme indiqué plus bas Ré Mi Fa# Sol La Si Do Ré Mi Fa# Sol La Si ce qui donne D E F# G A B C D E F# G A B. Mais quand je joue, je n'arrive pas à avoir les mêmes notres. Je vais refaire un essai en passant tout en dièses, on verra bien. Très chouette mélodie en tout cas.
