- The Alamo is one of the most popular steakhouses in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, and they have a location in both towns.
We decided to take advantage of the buy-one-get-one-free specials they run during January and February.

We love Alamo steakhouse. We do prefer the one in Gatlinburg. I admire them for taking care of the employees after the fire. I was deviated to see all the fire damage. I have a few friends in that area and come down as often as we can.

We look forward to the BOGO and are glad they still offer it. A 30 minute wait was not bad. Your meal and dessert looked perfect. Its always a plus when you have fun with your server. We loved Feasters too and hated they closed. Enjoyed your Alamo review.

Thanks for the video! We were there and had a great experience too. I had the large prime rib it lasted me for 3 meals!Yesterday we went to Mama’s Chicken Kitchen and had a great meal for two people and spent $14!! (We had leftovers from that too!)

I just read your comment to my wife, because she had tried to order the prime rib and they were out. She wanted me to ask if you got the last one? Lol
@@NCMemoryMakers we were there earlier Thursday. Us old folks like to beat the crowds. We were seated with no waiting around 4:45. I doubt I got the last prime rib, but it was near the end I’ll bet. I asked for medium and got medium well and a little dry. I wish I would have went with the ribeye. My wife always gets the chili rubbed pork chops and loves them!

Yes, Derrick I would do the same thing. I would tell Cindy to order the big steak and I could have the leftovers and the bone! The steaks looked delicious. You can't beat that deal for sure. Not even sure how they can afford to do it. Looks like another great meal. Wish we could have made it down for the special. Thanks for sharing.
Exactly. That's the way I was looking at it. If it's free, go ahead and get the biggest one you can.

Those steaks looked phenomenal, I have got to try this the next time I’m in TN. So surprised to learn that Feasters on Teasters is no longer in business, I always wanted to try this but missed the opportunity ☹️. Yes, we were very disappointed about Feasters. We went there 2 times, and really enjoyed it.

When did Feasters go out of business? Your meals looked delicious. Next time we are in the area, we’ll certainly check this restaurant out..btw, I’ve never had prime rib…
@@Momtocam1997 We drove by there today, and the sign is still up. It was posted on their Facebook page months ago, that they were closing the dining room and only going to be a catering business. I then heard they had gone out altogether, but I'm not sure now. They may still be doing the catering, but I'm pretty sure you can't go inside anymore. We learned that from their Facebook page.

That is correct. That's the reason I was hoping to find garlic mashed potatoes somewhere else, that were comparable to theirs.

@@mikeanderson7165 Yes, we saw that on their FB page, months back. But we're not sure if they're even doing that now. Their last Facebook post was like back in June, or around that time.
I hated to see them close, because we really liked it.

I did not ruin the steak. I like steak sauce on steak. I always put it on steak. I could taste it quite well. Steak sauce is my preference, and I always use it when I eat steak.
