- "Mechanism of fat digestion and absorption
Fat is an important component of our diet. It is both protective and contributes to heart disease depending on the type of fat. Fat can be saturated on unsaturated foods which are more complicated in structure. In its complete form the fats are made up of triglycerides. Triglycerides are made up of three fatty acids joined to a glycerol backbone. We need to break down fat into its building blocks to be absorbed by our body."

Did you hear some bad news at around the 5 minute mark? Your voice dropped its enthousiasm completely
@@krishnanunnim.s1910can you just explain?
I think he just went to sleep and did the outro first thing in the morning when he woke up 😂😂
It is important to remember that the lingual lipase don't start to digest lipid in the mouth, because that enzyme, despite is secreted in the mouth, is only actived in the stomach.
Is it just me, or did he suddenly die inside at the end?
Very good video. Brief and straight to the point
Literally a life saviour!! Thanks for the video man!!
Nicely explained, Thank you!
This was just what I needed
U’re a life saver!
Freaking amazing as always! Another goodie. Thank you.
Very good, thanks for sharing
Well explained, thanks
I am a huge fan of your work. Your videos help me immensely with studying and you are so talented. If I could give a small bit of feedback- personally I find the hand-drawn videos much easier to understand and I think they explain the concepts better. They also showcase your talent and set you apart from other videos out there. The computer-style images just don't have the same effect. But that's just my opinion. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. You are amazing!
I do agree, but these new videos are probably digitally drawn instead of token from the internet like other videos are
Either way the content is still good
I have always enjoyed and am so grateful for the valuable content this channel provides for my study. This is the first time I have come across the new way the diagrams are presented and I would have to agree with you. I much prefer the hand drawn diagrams and explanations as I can retain the information a lot better. This vid is also helpful but as you said, not quite the same effect. Thank you Armando for helping us all out, you are very talented!
I'm SO glad I found you! I just may pass my Bio Chem exam now!! Thank you :)

Thank you !
Thanks
Great video, thank you so much!!
Great job! Just one small error. Lingual lipase is not activated until it hits the acidic stomach acid. This means that lipolysis cannot begin until fat reaches the stomach.
Thank you. How.does the omentum fit into all this?
Thank u sir
Hi. What do you use for recording and making the video?
على راسي انت واهلك ومرتك وعشيرتك
Thank you ❤❤❤❤
Wish me luck to pass my final exam 😢
How does triglycerides get transferred directly into monoglycerides?
Shouldn't they be converted into diglycerides first?

1:15 I thought the duodenum was past the pyloric sphincter at the end of the stomach in the small intestine.
It is, the duodenum is the entire curve after the pyloric sphincter and consists of four sections (superior, descending, inferior and ascending)
was it just me or did the voice turn into Snape from harry potter round 5:00?
