Also all for one was passed down three separate times to people who didn't even have quirks so that means it was a 0×?=0 or at least a ?+0= no progress added to the new user. This anime has already broken the rules of sense with Eri's quirk being able to change the future even though she is part of the timeline. If they make it so that Bakugo really did go back to the past to tell the first user how to transfer the powers then this anime doesn't make any sense. The reason for that is the information of transferring one for all would have no origins point. Look up the Temporal paradox

Tomura was basically adopted by AFO who gave him his surname. Also, if it's true then could it mean that Izuku's name could be Shigaraki if things were different (like, you know if AFO's is Hisashi Midoriya then the question is which name is real if any)? :o

It is quite possible that AFO is Izuku's father. I wouldn't put it past him to get Izuku hooked on All Might, leave well before his battle with All Might, and eventually send that slime villain from the beginning of the series to encounter Izuku and Bakugo while All Might was in the area to ensure that Izuku ends up inheriting OFA. On another note, the author loves Star Wars and AFO looks a lot like Darth Vader in a business suit.
For the time travel enthusiasts, maybe Izuku IS AFO and that is how he is able to constantly predict what is going on and how he knows basically everything about OFA and society in general. On a more likely note, Izuku is extremely smart and observant. AFO clearly has both of these traits as demonstrated in his fight and later talk with All Might. After all, Izuku's plan was what rescued Bakugo and allowed All Might to fight without reserve. If not for Izuku, AFO and the League would have likely won that encounter. AFO's strategy had only one opening, and Izuku found it.

Although, was OFA a first Gen Quirk? The Stockpiling and the Quirk Passing definitely was, but after that, who knows? All For One could have waited years before giving his brother the quirk. OFA could very well be a second Generation Quirk.

I was thinking the same thing, using him to build power and then do a body swap or something similar.
While that seems kinda obvious. I believe it might not happen. Because at the end of the day I believe shiggy’s goal is diff. Is not conquering. But total destruction. So instead of that I would say that if all for one tries to take him shiggy would kill him.
I think it’s more likely Shiggy kills AFO, but this is a possibility (to me it wouldn’t feel right though)
@@TurtleQuirk i think that the operation on shiggy is just a test run and flawed in some small way and that in the end AFO will become the prim antagonist and be killed shiggy using his decay quirk to decay AFO dreams and Goals. I just can`t picture AFO giving his power away because he wants all for himself.
I always toyed with the idea that the end goal was a body swap or some kind of possession. Probably goes wrong and Shigaraki goes all ultranihilist with AfO powers.
As bad as it sounds, i can't wait for All for One to escape prison or die cause he's such an interesting villain, there's so much we don't know

The original owner of OFA was the little brother of AFO. So it makes sense if you think about it
If All For One wasn't so cruel and horrible, what he was doing wouldn't have seemed so bad.
My theory was that All for one did at some point take One for all. However when he said it didn't act the way he wanted was that the true secret of one for all is that it is conscious. I created this theory from when Almight and Deku talked about control and spirits of past users. Almight said he could use One for all instantly while Deku couldn't. When seeing Deku's journey to become stronger I noticed something. Deku's ideals fueled his growth. Moments when Deku was focused on goal One for all reacts to his ideals. It allows it to be used to aid Deku. The reason Deku has trouble os because at first his ideals aren't genuine at first. He wants to be Almight and this is what holds him back. Each user must be adamant in their ideals to use the full power of One for all. Both the quirk and the user needs to do this to resonate. This where that percentage comes from but also where the misunderstanding comes in. All for one notice this and knew the only way to truly obtain one for all he must defeat it. To point his brother and all other wills are shattered. This is because One for all true power is not only to be passed down, but evolve each time. Making the previous 100% just a simple factor. More as each user will have a 10x quirk boost of their own that reacts to emotion. To obtain this fully All for one would make a infinite cycle of growth in quirks. He could take it enhance and give it away

I really think that there's a lot more to the story of All For One than what we have seen so far. I personally believe the Dad For One theory. Maybe he was like Deku was, once. Powerless, way down on the totem pole, disregarded by the world around him, a nobody alone with his sickly brother. Maybe the rise of Quirks allowed him to get back at the world that told him he was worthless?

His hole Character as a villain reminds me of some aspects and traits of so many great other villains in cinema history:
1. He has Thanos's immense strength and power and can obliterate entire city by simply lifting his hand. Yet a kind nature towards his subordinates.
2. His threatening presence and intimating vibe reminds me of Darth Vader, who would make all his enemies to be paralyzed by fear feel death is upon them by merely entering the area.
3. His cunning nature, manipulations, strategy and careful planning is very similar to that of Emperor Palptine who plotted for years behind the scenes to become to sole ruler of the galaxy while deceiving everyone and using people as tools to carry out his plans. And he took advantage of all of Vader's hate and anger to shape him into an all- powerful Sith Lord, and AFO did the same thing with Shigaraki to turn him into a frightening villian.
And much like old Palps, he is evil because that is his way of being powerful and have influence to shape reality according to his vision.
4. He has murderous and cruel nature in battle and simply blasts anything and everyone in his way simply because it is in his path. He takes pleasure in killing and seems to enjoy showing off his power at the cost of innocent life. Plus, he wants to live forever and cheat death. Sounds familiar? Lord Voldemort.
Anyway, that's my opinion and my reasoning to why I like him so much as a villain, though I am not claiming that Hirokoshi ripped of from the sagas that the villains mentioned above appear in. Do you agree with my opinion or not? And do you thing that their are other traits of AFO that remind you of other great villains?
So if nine could see people quirks and people are saying one for all gives you the ability to see someone's quirks how didn't he see his brothers secret quirk?
All for one doesn’t give you that ability, Nine stole many quirks from heroes. AFO doesn’t come with any quirk already attached

Also you're forgetting that All for One once joyfully murdered Tomura's grandmother,and he is completely unaware of this fact.
The same grandmother he seemed to idolize as a hero at age 7,and wanted to be like.I doubt Tomura would take that info very well.
Especially it's' pretty heavily implied that AFO actively sought Tomura out to be his sucessor.Meaning that it's very likely he had a hand in orchestrating the tragic events where Tomura ended up accidentally slaughtering his entire family.
Tomura is already mentally unstable from all the trauma he's been though.Can you imagine what would happen if he found out that the adoptive dad he looked up to so much murdered his other former idol?And then manipulated Tomura himself into murdering his entire family via his out of control quirk?
Tomura might end up so mind screwed that he goes full on Joker,and tears dear old adoptive daddy to pieces while laughing hysterically.

@@yienannchoo82 I'm pretty sure he gave up his Super Regeneration Quirk (specifically to the USJ Nomu most likely). He had no use for it since the injury he wanted to heal had already scarred up, so he couldn't regenerate it.

If "one for all" stockpiles and becomes stronger everytime it's shared, why don't two people just pass the quirk around in a way that the quirk seemingly grows forever? Would it work? Op haxs much?
It’s not the “sharing” aspect that grows the quirk, it doesn’t get stronger because it’s passed - it gets stronger and CAN be passed. So passing it back and forth would be kinda pointless!

Gosh dang it! I need to read this manga! I've only seen the anime but every panel I've seen from the manga is just stunning.
What I am wondering is what will his fate will be:
even though he is a poisoner in the most secured jail in the world, it doesn't seem like it really bothers him. In fact, it seems as if *he wants to be there*. And now that we know that his consciousness resides in the All For One quirk and that he can take over Shigarki's body at will, I am beginning to question his motives for the future are. It's frightening to try to think like AFO, but I think he is lying and waiting for the right moment to escape or for Shigarki to break him out. However, if Shigarki will in fact attempt to kill him, I doubt that it is an outcome he could have forseen.

The timeline for this series is really confusing when you take a wide look. Like, there's no way a tyrant like All For One would be unknown, especially given how he was still in his whole form when Shigaraki was a child and was beaten only five years before the start of the series.
Alright, the day is 2042, July 17th, the day AFO or his real name Yukio Chujitsuna Shigaraki was born, Yukio and Yoichi were born before quirks existed, quirks didnt exist until Yukio became 7, Yukio and his brother used to play video games and they were born into a abusive household where their mother and father drank a lot, both of them were bullied and used as scapegoats by their siblings.
Until Yukio killed his whole family except for Yoichi, WW3 began in 2028-2035, the world developed anti-nuclear missile technology to prevent MAD, the police tried to look for the two, but the world is in chaos after the third world war, Yukio and Yoichi then found a Yakuza mob boss and lived with the boss who they see as their father figure and worked for him, like Overhaul for example.
The US government ordered a project and they called it Operation Plus Ultra (kind of like MK Ultra) where their goal is to develop superpowers in the human body and used animals such as mice, rats, dogs, to test them if the superpowers would work, that's when Nezu was born and he escaped from the experiments, other powers such as Russia, China, EU, UK, France, Japan tried to copy this ability the US has, one of the USA's quirk technology malfunctioned and escapes into one of the people in the public and that's when the superpowered crisis begins.
That's when the US created the quirk called we know today as All For One, this quirk was created so it can bring back order to society, it was given to someone who served in the military in Japan, that person couldn't psychologically handle the responsibility anymore and thats when he meet Yukio (the person we know today as AFO, the person, not the quirk), Yukio says to the person he would take the burden of that responsibility and with the US government and Japan's permission, the person gave the quirk to Yukio, Yukio used to be a superhero named Mighty Crunch and worked under NATO and the US, and was a part of a NATO equivalent of the Justice League or a Superhuman team.
Yukio then started to believe he was being used by the US government and acted on his own and rebelled, Yukio almost destroyed the quirk technology so the US had to shut down its quirk manufacturing technology, the people in the NATO superhuman team were afraid of Yukio's power so they turned back to their secret identities as if they never existed, and those who didn't and fought back were tortured and killed by Yukio, Yukio believed in returning order and that he must take control in order to bring stability to the world, but ended up being corrupted by the power, and that's how Yukio Chujitsuna Shigaraki became the villain we know today as All For One, what do you think?

To me his ideals at first aren't that bad he just wanted some control and I think even make things peaceful after he achieves his goal of domination he probably would've made some sort of safe haven for quirk users or at least some sort of peace time
I believe that AFO gave Shigaraki his quirk. This would make him a mirror of Deku's story. At the very least, he forced Shigaraki's quirk activation the day the boys family died.

I don’t know if shigaraki is going to be the main villain. I think AFO will be. This has always bugged me for the longest time. Why didn’t AFO steal shigarkis quirk when he first met him. Shigarki original quirk can be considered the strongest in the series. AFO knew this and never took it. If he had, he would’ve easily beaten All Might. I think AFO still has plans. He might be looking for a vessel and raised shigaraki to be that vessel. I just am skeptical about AFO genuinely sacrificing his life for Tomoura back in Kamino
