There is no concern of removing the old u bolts on the ground under truck full weight? I don’t need to support rearend? Also does it matter how level the truck is side to side when doing this? Thank u
Wow man I was watching your old videos cause I love your content, just found out you bought your truck in Chardon, OH. I live 10 minutes away from there. Have watched a million of your videos and have had no idea this whole time. Small world! Keep it up man. Thank you for your service as well!
so how’d you get the other bolt in on the backside that looks like the fuel tank blocked any access to dropping a bolt in there? about to tackle this project on my 15 denali. cool vid
@@michaelarevalo2260 I ordered them str8 off hsp website. Be patient. They make them when you order them. It was 5 or 6 weeks till I got them. But man they set the truck off. Look cool as shit
Are you unscrewing the heim joint 7 times because of the lift kit or are you just going for mid-point of the thread? Just wondering about the reason behind it, HSP kit just showed up, excited to put it on the L5P.
I'm loving the l5p content, I've got the hsp track bars on my L5P dually and there awesome, candy blue of course, that turbo was a drop in, but you never mentioned tuning, can you update us on the the extent of the tuning if any, great video Josh your the only dude on RUclips providing great l5p content keep up the awesome work.
Andrew Cox. yes if you want your springs and U-joints to last longer you should. The bright paint is bling the bars do the work. I’m not sure I’d do the bolt on’s like this as I don’t like the big holes drilled into the frame. I prefer weld on. Wehrli custom fab. Or many others.
Makes me wanna but traction bars for my 2019 L5P🤙🏻 question to ask, what wheel and tire setup would u recommend running with a 2 inch leveling kit and would not have to do any trimming and have no rubbing or scraping? Have had problems shopping for tire and wheel setups bc I don’t want to ruin the bumper😳
I’m running Fuel Maverick D260 20x10 -19 with 275/60/R20 = 33x10.8 with WCFab traction bars on my 18 pal. No rubbing no trimming with a Cognito level kit. Hope this helps
Hey Truck Master, do traction bars bind up when you’re hauling? I have a dually that I throw a large slide in camper into, and while I love the ideas of protecting the driveline and keeping power to the ground, I worry that the added weight might bind things up. Or am I wrong in my thinking?
I’m not sure what you mean by binding up but there’s no way for them to bind up. They hold your axle from going back and forth basically. They don’t bind up in other words
Good video as always but I absolutely hate the hsp traction bars. Heim on one end of the bar only and then its a terrible bolt on system and the bolt on mount portion is very weak
That looks like an awful set up...some of those holes looks like you drilled them right into existing holes. I think I'd rather have the weld on brackets from wehrli.
Josh send me a friend request on Facebook bud for the truck of wife max get some custom traction bars that say wife max on them add some color i can send u more info on tim moore he does Chromeally 2 1/2 tube and he customize plate steel boxed trackion bars that have led lighting in side the shadow box for lighting up the logo
Added these to my 2016 duramax. Thanks @truckmaster for the video. I was trying to find the torque specs and this was the best source.
Level ground and drill and install? Correct
Great video. The step bit they sent me sucks though. It won't cut through my frame no matter what.
Just put my RDS 64mm turbo on my 15.5' lml. Nice. Now doing Trac bars....

That doesn't weaken the frame? Drilling all those holes

How did you get the access hole on yhe drivers side? Did you actually remove the exhaust? All these videos showing the easy drivers side.

Loving turbo and the Hsp bars
🔥
Hey man I just ordered me a set of these! Thanks for the discount!
Do you have a link to the ones you ordered?

Thank you for the key holder
Do they have bars for a 2006 1500 GMC Sierra?
Are you unscrewing the heim joint 7 times because of the lift kit or are you just going for mid-point of the thread? Just wondering about the reason behind it, HSP kit just showed up, excited to put it on the L5P.
How does that truck sounds like that when its still got the dpf system??
It doesn’t have DPF.. lol. Tank is just still there
I have a 2019 L5P. I appreciate the L5P videos as well as all of your other videos.
Whats the best 1/2 drill bit to buy for drilling that frame
How do you decide length of bars? Or is it just personal preference?
Great video!! Love the channel
Is that L5p deleted or is it just a drop in turbo with 4 inch exhaust?

Thanks and I can definitely do a update video in the future
Yeah buddy from Aleskyfinis
Should I get the traction bars ? I tow daily with a heavy lawn service trailer. Is the $ worth it?

I tried your old code for Werhli yesterday for their FASS relocation bracket. Shocker it didnt work 😏 LOL
🤷♂️😂
@@TruckMaster it was worth a shot LOL. Take care man.

Great vid! Ryan needs the new Matco Hyperstep bits.
Thanks
That’s a cute truck n all. But does it do any work besides abusive burn outs?
yes unfortunately I cant film every trailer it’s hauled for you 🤷♂️
Woot woot 👍🏼🇺🇸

They do not bind up. If you need a quote on a set feel free to email me at blake_guski@woldfab.com

Good luck with cracking your frame with welding👍
You just weaken the frame rail...
