- These videos were created several years ago and the curriculum has been updated since that time. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide the handouts/manual from this class. We do have live zoom classes available for a fee, including some by the instructor in this class,an online education program for a fee also, and a free pregnancy texting platform for throughout your pregnancy. What can I honestly say? These videos may be a few years old, but the information is still helpful and relevant. its been easier on our time and wallets to be able to turn to pre-recorded videos to get the information we need.
As a bonus, I'm about 30 weeks and have been so scared of labor, but this class has really put my mind at ease. My husband and I have a few weeks to prepare still but we feel like we are ready for the coming weeks. Thank you so much for posting these!
Thank you so much for these classes! I’m in my 2nd trimester, and my husband and I are watching them. So informative, thorough and well-presented. The instructor is a true gem!

Brilliant educator and videos. Now nitrous oxide is more common in facilities with little to no side effects. Hopefully this can be covered in a future video.

When she said “narcotic antagonist” I knew she was talking about narcan and then I realized it’s called narcan because it’s a NARCotic ANtagonist. You learn something new every day 😂
These videos make me feel very much alone and when i talk to my husband he just says I’m not alone and that i have our family to help because he has to work. But i don’t want them i want him. It’s our baby. But i have no choice.

Most common pushing position is indeed sadly lying down, why is just more easy for the doctors to follow up but for the mother is pushing against gravity, best pushing position is squatting, can be with help of a little brench. Further very good information, and love the way of bringing it over.

OMG... the perennial massage hurt me so bad !! I had to have a pain shot after my baby was born.

We also have some lactation consultant videos. I will put them together in a playlist next week for you.
Videos 2 and 3 are reversed, so this one should actually be video 2. Great information though, thank you

Very helpful video but the information on induction and pitocin is willdly out of date. There should really be an inserted note alerting viewers to this fact. Elective induction is a thing now and it just may be beneficial.
From ACOG regarding a 2018 study: "Based on the findings demonstrated in this trial, it is reasonable for obstetricians and health-care facilities to offer elective induction of labor to low-risk nulliparous women at 39 weeks gestation. However, consideration for enactment of this elective induction of labor intervention should not only take into account the trial findings, but that this recommendation may be conditional upon the values and preferences of the pregnant woman, the resources available (including personnel), and the setting in which the intervention will be implemented."

Why oxytosin doesn't always induce labour. It was in my case. I've been given oxytosin for 2 days and it caused no contractions, cc was made in the end.
Are the videos the class got to watch available somewhere ? The ones she asked questions to the class about… I wish those were included.

@@rena10009 in the process of watching them all. been very informative so far. better than half the other videos out there. definitely wouldn't say these videos make me want to start a new life and leave the country. there's a lot of single moms out there with no resources or transportation so i can imagine how helpful these videos are when youre popping a kid out for the first time and you're alone with no one telling you how to do anything.
