Awesome video bro. Held my Attention the entire time. I have my first bowling ball on the way and it feels like I’m waiting on Christmas lol. Thanks for the video. # Keepbowlingmyfriend!!
Have a buddy who got the Phaze4... Rolled it with my Black widow Ghost and both felt very similar..one thing you can't deny, both those balls store a ton of energy and really smash through those pins. We bowled "no-holes pick one ball only" for $5 a game and had a blast with it. My best was a 186 and took back $20 haha.
I have a rhino that I was bought for Christmas, I haven’t at the chance to got to the pro shop so I throw it the same way; it’s pearl so that’s a automatic curve no matter what but once you get a hang with it, it is very cool!
Quite interesting test Michael. I've visited my kids while they were in college and we went bowling a couple of times. I didn't bring my equipment with me so I had to use a house ball and all. After bowling three games and then got home that night, my fingers hurt for about two weeks after doing that. I was so pleased to have my own balls to use again. How did your hand and arm feel after throwing those shots with the Phaze 4? I'd think I'd want to die if I even could bowl just a few shots like that. Perhaps with a two handed approach you'd have done much better. You'd likely not be able to get much hook though. Repeating shots are probably best by where you have your hand placed on the ball. Just one hole in the ball would have helped you a lot I think. Maybe for your middle finger or perhaps your ring finger. Enjoyed watching your video.
Two handed I would definitely be able to get some better rotation on the ball. I might have to try that. My hand and arm were fine. Back in my prime I used to bowl 40+ games per day Glad you liked the vid!

Used balls are fine for someone just getting into it. Will be way better than any old house ball especially if it’s drilled to fit your hand. Good to learn with. How are you maintaining grip on the ball to give it spin?

It’s harder to get tilt and rotation on a bowling ball without any holes to lift on
