Another wonderful video with wonderful photography examples. I love the feeling of the landscape photos at 10:00 and 14:00. One comment about the image at 14:00. Something I'm paying attention to lately is how sometimes shallow depth of field can hurt an image. I love how you got the right amount of the image in focus at 14:00. Another comment about the negative space as seen in your photos of people looking upward. The negative space that you have there supports the composition (ie the people looking into the negative space) it's not negative space solely for the sake of having negative space in a photo. Thank you for pointing out Michael's work. I'm now following him on InstaG.
Great -very clear. Btw, could you go through image processing for the chap by the window, at 6 minutes, looking up. There are few examples on youtube with subtle, low colour processing. That would be super interesting.
Thank you! In this video ruclips.net/video/O3NXErhqyAw/видео.html "3 HACKS to transform your LANDSCAPE PHOTOS in Capture One Pro 20", when talking about simplifying busy images I have compared them to Japanese prints :)
Thank you! What if you had a specific subject in mind for a minimalist shit, but a busy background was unavoidable? Is there anything to be done in editing to wash it out, or create a fog to was it out etc?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts Darren! There are some great interviews with Michael Kenna online, I think you’ll enjoy them.

There are many videos on colour processing, and many on black and white, but no good ones on 'Subtle Colour Processing'
Thanks for the idea, sounds great!
Great as always. Remind me which prior video talked about Japanese prints please

Hmm, I’d lay down on the floor to get rid of the busy background :) This should work 90% of times.
