When I play Iron Cross, I put twice as much on the box numbers as the field. That way you win a little more, but I also take the bets down after 3 hits to mitigate risk of the seven. That’s how I originally learned this strategy. I also like to play it with enough on the don’t to cover whatever I have on place bets.
I like what you are doing. Mathematically you are just revealing the obvious and why Vegas casino’s can pretty much predict their annual returns (guarantee positive returns do to the math).
Love your sims. I've been playing craps in casinos for several years. I've found that this 50-50 game has come out, well, almost exactly that. What i think you'll find is that after some honeymoon period where you're just happy to play for a few hours and not get thrashed, that you'll want a *result*. Meaning that you are no longer interested in just surviving. you'll be willing to risk a big loss for a potential big gain. Bet big or don't play. I always hear "don't give the law of averages time to catch up to you".
Very nice graphics, smooth flowing presentation and succinct summary of your content. Just curious what the Iron Cross calc would be with the 2 and 12 paying double. Would it be much different than just the 12 paying triple? Would be interesting if you and John at Pro Craps (Casino Gaming TV) collaborated to review and assess his extensive research into strategies. John is an extraordinary/excellent resource in the field of gambling/craps analysis. A lot of craps players these days are seeking to ideally get out of the hand (recoup their investment on any given shooter) in as few rolls/hits as possible. So the big bankroll, small bankroll dichotomy should be addressed and squared away before applying the math. Thanks very much for your video. Looking forward to more of your work.

what was surprising about this? Sim says you're primarily losing using a losing strategy and it takes over 6 rolls to make money and playing with house money (statistically a 7 is supposed to be 1/6 rolls)
My "Prime Directive" in casino craps play - the rule that supersedes all other rules all the time - is "never visit the ATM". Bring a bankroll and stick to it. There's no crying in craps. If I lose, I lose. If I win, it's not because I'm smart or handsome. I've busted several times and several times won enough to pay for my next cruise.
Math is flawed actually! You didn't start your dice rolls until the point was set. You can't not any rolls!!! The dice rolls count starts when the dice rolls no matter what it is even a 7. Can't ignore the rolls before the point is set. Those are winning numbers that you aren't counting right from the start.
You had the WRONG AMOUNTS for the Iron Cross because you want ro win at LEAST the table MINIMUM on EVERY ROLL of the dice, so IF this was a $15 minimum table, you SHOULD'VE had $25 on the number 5 and $30 EACH on the numbers 6 and 8 and $15 in the field bet!!!

I thought the Iron Cross had a "don't pass" component, so you win on everything except the "come out 7".
