Hydrangeas will wilt very quickly after they are cut from the vine. You need remove all leaves and crush the end of the cut stem immediately and place it in water.
Adding sugar to the water will help them
last longer. Also, water should be changed after a couple days.

We use coffee to get blue flowers, Brue Instant coffee.I used fresh ground coffee which had not been used so its aroma was partly lost. I put a tablespoon per pot plant raked it in , then watered. I got some blue hydrangeas. Awaiting more flowering.

I was given a beautiful pure white hydrangea plant in spring last year. In the summer i gave it some tomato fertilizer and the blooms turned green. Then a couple of weeks later turned a very dark green. By the end of summer it changed once more to a beautiful burnt orange then died off later. Why all those changes in colour please 🙏
