Hello Miss Kayla! What a joy to see you enjoying your coloring books and pencils. I don’t color, but if I did, I would know that I would do shading. When I want to play with colors and paint, I do gelli printing. I just love, love, love gelli printing. I use the papers to make my own gift bags, stationary, etc. I just finished crocheting 2 Angelmo Bags following the tutorial by Terri of Yarnjoy. They are basically granny square “duffle bags”. Right now I’m going to take a break from crochet and go back to sewing bags. Since it’s been a while, I’m going to sew a tote bag and then go on to more complex designs. I must say, though, that you are tempting me to color. I have a set of Derwent Inktense pencils. Perhaps I’ll print a coloring page and join you next time! 😊😊😊😊

That is a terrific coloring book 📖! You are so right, Juan is the best. He's 45, same as my son. And, Wilma is such a joy and blessing to all of us, just like you! 💛💛💛
I’m on Big Daddy’s side about the beach trip. That man works hard and he deserves a trip to the beach! I also have chronic illnesses and sometimes don’t think I can do something, but almost always end up enjoying it if I make myself suck it up and go. 😂. I find the beach very healing so I don’t need any encouragement to agree to a beach trip. I know you’ve mentioned loving being near the water and your fun trips to the beach in the past. We were in Biloxi/ Gulfport the first week in January and had a blast. We don’t gamble, but we did visit the Island View Casino to eat beignets. I highly recommend it. The lemon dipping sauce with their beignet sticks are fabulous. Have a great Memorial Day weekend!
Love your coloring 💓. I love coloring too. I like to do color by number books. I like coloring books that are not so complicated.😊 I have been working on some washcloths for Rose likes crochet 🧶. I also made some make up bags.
It's nice to see you enjoying coloring! I like coloring, but I really like diamond painting. I could get addicted to it! I bought a couple little kits for my granddaughters, and I had more fun than they did! It was their last day of school today. Went with my daughter and grandson to pick them up. Looking forward to seeing more of them this summer!

I thought about a blue dress with yellow polka dots. That way it would tie in the yellow bow in her hair.🤷🏼♀️ You could give her blue shoes and maybe blue and yellow striped socks. 🤷🏼♀️

I have been wondering about a way you could crochet not having to use your baby finger. Maybe threading the yarn through some sort of eye, like on a ball winder, maybe a double eye to give you some tension. That way you won't have to put pressure on that finger.🤔

The overnight stay in Biloxi sounds wonderful. I'm sure Big Daddy is just trying to get both of you away from your everyday routine and trying to give you something else to think about. I understand your point about staying overnight in Shreveport because you have 2 doctor appointments back to back but, it's not taking your mind away from your illness. Maybe you can do overnight in Shreveport now and in a couple weeks go to Biloxi. 🤷🏼♀️💖

Hi kayla, colouring is very addictive! But so much fun!. Lol!. I have been cleaning the house. Crocheting and colouring. Aww, how sweet of big daddy wanting to take you away for the night. Go kayla! The sea air is a tonic!. It will be good for you both. I like to colour owls/ animals. I also like to make cards & bookmarks out of them. Pictures laminated for walls. There is so many gift ideas. Juan is, all the things lol!. We love watching him & his lovely mum wilma. They are so sweet. Genuine guy!. I think he is 45 kayla. How nice that he is making you a throw in your favourite colour. I've been working on a filet thread memorial for my Aunt Louise's daughter/my cousin. A blanket for my father in law. A bucket hat. That i actually brought with me to my girls house.

I'm working on my 6th of 7 blankets I'm making for my daughters, granddaughters and granddaughter -in-law for this years Christmas gifts. Maybe instead of Biloxi you could find a place to stay a couple of nights and do your doctor appointments and find interesting place or two to see and then spend a night before you drive back helping you both rest up. What ever you both decide to do i pray all goes well for you both. I'm sure he was just wanting to do something nice with his sweetheart for Memorial Day celebration. God bless, be safe and get well.

I love coloring. It's all about colors I pick. That's. The art for me. Just like crochet picking colors to go together. It's very relaxing for me.
Good evening Kayla. Enjoy coloring. I remember when I was little around 10 years old I was stuck to the tv to see the Apollo land on the moon and see Armstrong take the first steps on the moon. That Summer I got a coloring book of the journey to the moon. I spend hours coloring the aircraft and the astronaut. I loved that coloring book. You brought all of those memories back. God bless you.

So happy you have found something a little less stressful for you to do. I have colored in years, I have several books, I may have to drag some out. I love the pictures in your book, so cute. Right now I'm working on my second hexi cardigan. I went yesterday, and had a cortizone shot in my knee, it seems to be helping already, except the cortizone gave me a terrible headache.

Hi Kayla. The picture is looking great. I haven't colored in a long while. In fact someone had given me a very nice/expensive coloring book and about a month ago I gave it as a donation. I figured someone else may be in need of it and this place gives away all the things they receive as donations free. I may get back into it later, who knows. I'm glad you found something else to do that helps relaxes you as you need that.

I just love watching you color and how much time and care you put into each picture! I did pull my coloring books out today. I just need to find my colored pencils.
If you go to five below you can get gel pens and fine line markers there with a variety of colors. For background being colored I think it depends on the picture, but I usually leave them plain.
