its super CPU intensive and the old FX processors where never good in playing games so that will not be an enjoyable experience the 3050 is also not enough to give u proper frame rates in 1080p maybe wait a couple weeks or months until performance patches get released and modders offer performance mods to raise fps... and upgrade ur CPU / RAM combo to something more modern. DDR4 systems are damn cheap nowadays. Especially the ryzen 2600x and higher cpu and mainboard combos
The whole 30fps part really got me thinking. There has to be some sort of nasty ass bug that's in this game tanking performance. There's just no way that it would run like such ass and then magically run smoother for no reason. Furthermore, there's also absolutely no reason for a game to run so badly on a 1650 at all low settings. It really doesn't look that good on low and that card should be able to handle it. I'm running this on an 5600x, 16GB ram and an RTX 3070. It runs decent enough with stutters and hitches on Epic with DLSS Performance and FSR Frame Gen at 2K, but every once in a while this glitch happens where it starts to run in single digit framerates, much like what we're seeing in the first half of your video, until I quit and load it up again.
I'll also add that this weird fps issue happens in other areas that really don't make sense. At the very beginning when you're taking the sensor to the 3 different points, once you get into the bunker, one of the rooms where there's a dead scientist, the framerate absolutely tanks if you look into the corner of the room where there is an L shaped table with folders and such on it where you find the laptop, but only if you look into that corner of the room. Everywhere else in the bunker seems to be fine, but that room fucks hard.
The game has memory leaks, even with more current software, when in populated areas, it can go from 90 fps to only 10, having to reload the save or the game to fix it. The magic of Unreal Engine 5.
the GPU power was very unstable, because of this, FPS drops and cannot show the real capabilities of the chip, what a curve game, we are waiting for patches
Look here buddy. Rx 6600 slightly weaker then rtx 3060, meanwhile rx 6700xt equal to rtx 3070 in native performance (not rt, or upscale tools). But! Rx 6700xt has 12gb vram, that means if game need more vram, like "the last of us part 1", rx 6700xt performances better. But in general pick what you want, or what is cheaper for you (between rx 6700xt and rtx 3070). Both cards are amazing
I am still rocking GTX1650 D6 because I rarely play AAA titles and mostly have fun with older competitive games that run fine, but seeing the demand for GPUs in gaming jump to the point of Stalker 2 where you can't even run it properly at 720p low settings makes me think I'll give it a year more at best and upgrade.
how do you use FSR 3 Frame Generation on GTX1650 ? when i tried using it in another game it said it wasnt available because i had GTX1050 and when i looked it up online it says FSR3 FG requires RTX 20 series card minimum... so how are you using it on a 1650 ?
it can run on the 1650,the low fps is because theres a memory leak (yt channel named 54 fps made a video on stalker 2 with a gtx 1650 and he didnt have a memory leak so it ran honestly not so bad for him) edit:the memory leak is caused by the lip syncing GSC know about it and will fix it hopefully in the next patch so another benchmark after would be smart
Yo Kryzzp! i just got an ROG Ally for my nerd needs, i would love to see a Stalker 2 test on this compared to the 1650 would be very interesting to see
I have a laptop with a gth 1650, but I have 70+ fps on medium-low settings at 1600x900 and pretty nice graphics. I assume that such low fps is due to a bug that I often encounter: at any moment in the game, the fps drops to 15 and does not rise above, the video card stops working at full capacity. One or more save reloads help.
what is the reason for the performance of 30 fps after such terrible lags? It seems that further fixes will help to play even on 1650 and this is only a temporary problem
The GPU doesn't have enough VRAM to render those settlement areas. But if you go far away from them it doesn't require as much VRAM and it starts getting better. Unfortunately whenever you go back to settlements it'll be 5 fps again
Can you try msfs 2024 next? From what I know is that it takes RTX 3080 + dlss to run MSFS 2024 on 1080p ultra settings with 60 fps on the CPU intensive map
Problem is with power draw. When it improved, it waz drawing 65-68 watts. Whereas in area where it is lagging, its drawing 40 watts. So that's a big cause. VRAM is fully saturated in those areas, so GPU is weirdly not drawing enough power. I wish I had my 1650 so that I would have tried it in my system.
It´s running with an i5 9400f and a RTX 2080 Super, not great, but it's running. I know I need a CPU upgrade ASAP but I really hope they fix this soon, it's a fun game!
Don't know why but I think that the game itself is not properly optimised. Played it on gtx1660.. on low and medium settings.. 1080p... Sometimes in crowded area with NPCs it goes above 50fps and sometimes it's trash

40W vs 65W. Big performance difference. I tell you VRAM bottleneck are no jokes. It can make or break the game completely. Even optimized game in VRAM-wise still can't help low VRAM cards though. So NVIDIA really need to get their s*** together on 50 series.
5060 will be 8 GB again lol
Its not the V ram. Stop obsessing about the VRam. These games aren't optimized to run on anything except latest cards. "Recommended" means nothing, that's why people have so much trouble according to "recommended specs" - a lie to sell more games.
If the games tops over the vram then it will stutter@@alb-bos

This game has Nanite technology for lighting (a simpler version of ray tracing), so video cards below the 20xx series will show poor performance, but for some reason the 1060 became an exception, and optimization mods have also been released
I bought it and played for ten minutes (after the ten minutes to compile shaders) and man it was buggy and had lots of graphical issues on my 3060 ti. Think I'm waiting for the first patch to play again.

ARMA 3 Players: Wow this game is playable
This level of performance from unreal 5 games is just unacceptable. I'll cut stalker devs some slack because their country is literally being invaded, but still a bummer. The game doesn't even look as good as I was expecting. And getting 6fps on the lowest settings on a 5 year old gpu? I could swear to god low end cards from early 2010s lasted much longer because devs bothered optimizing. I remember playing RDR2 on my 2011 GTX 550ti on 20 fps lol. That was 8 years after the card got released. And RDR2 has much more complicated systems than stalker and actually looked better too.
what are you even talking about, since like 2003 its been industry standard to upgrade cards every 2-3 years, nothing has even changed.... other then people refusing to upgrade. its almost as if people forgot that technology increase at a fast rate
You remember wrong man. I remember my 8800 GTX, high end gpu of 2007, being brought to its knees by some titles after barley 3 years, meanwhile old "low end" gpu was struggling even at its release. It's actually crazy that low end gpus can handle anything u throw at them for 2-3+ years after its release, cuz old "low end" was basically full of glorified display adapters that could barley run older titles.

Healthy affirmation
this game has built-in nanite and lumen, which is essentially a basic type of ray tracing
yeah, the culprit in modern day games is unfortunately Any DLSS/FSR & Frame generation technology. Devs start to rely more and more on these technologies, which makes them spend not nearly enough time on actual good game optimization. All these technologies sweep all the bad optimization under the rug.
DLSS/FSR & Frame generation were the biggest mistake in this industry.
It's the Lumens in UE5 bro (name for raytracing in UE5). If you can disable in an .ini file, I think the fps can be more consistent at 30fps

This game with the 1650 makes it look like ai generated gameplay😭😭

Dude where the hell is the 7900xtx?
what is the reason for the performance of 30 fps after such terrible lags?

I wish I had my 1650 so that I would have tried it in my system.
but why doesn't even utilize 3900mb of vram?
Should you look at Allocated or Used VRAM?
