Woah ! Takes me back to being 16 ! I love the chorus and that rolling melody. This is the result when you get 3 of the best at the top of their game, give them freedom to do what they want and have fun. DLR is one of the strongest front men the world has ever seen. I saw VH live back in the day and whilst EVH was a mega talent it was Dave that gave them the extra special star quality. Thanks for posting.

I saw this tour. Nothing short of a "wow" across the board. One of the best lineups ever assembled. Now if I can get a glazed donut and bottle of anything - to go..
Too bad there's no quality live recordings from that era, all the bootlegs sound mushy as hell... And the VH live recordings were kinda disappointing because they sounded "too thin", there was something lacking in the sound.
It may have been 30 years ago for you but I'm from the Past and it's only been a few weeks since it came out for those who are from my time. The hardest thing to get used to Is a David Lee Roth without all of his hair.
What is hard to believe is the music didn't evolve and get vet it de evolved and got terrible, truly the golden age of music spawned from 60's - early 90's the relics of the golden ages ar getting old and dying out these days sadly we may never see a great era for music again in our life times
What memories the 80s produced! These were such good times and you could tell the bands were having a hell of a time! These were the days when the videos emulated exactly what we were feeling during that time. I really miss those days.

Being a teen in the 1970's was epic ! 1978 eddie changed it all lol I was in my first band then I played guitar and man he really Shocked and confused me all at the same time ,Im standing there after the needle dropped on VH it changed my world forever! Im 60 now ,never thought Ed would die so soon ! At least I got to meet him a few times I use to work Concerts ,Photo shot etc... I was in the music bizzz and Ive got some killer photos of Ed on the VH 3 tour 1998

Jason never got to go on that tour, and became confined to a wheelchair as his whole body turned to stone. Jason was a prodigy on his way to guitarist superstardom, which has been well covered in several documentaries over the years, looking back to the pre-ALS years. Look him up on RUclips. Jason is still alive today, living well beyond what was expected for any ALS survivor. Jason is barely mentioned today, but has always been known and respected by Van Halen, Vai, and every other guitar hero you know. I highly recommend doing some research on RUclips for videos, and go down the Jason Becker rabbit hole. You won't be sorry. You will be amazed and stunned. Maybe even inspired. And DLR was almost Jason's launchpad to him being a household name today.

I saw DLR Eat ‘em and Smile tour with Tesla opening. Incredible show by both. Tesla was amazing and Dave was unreal. Seeing Billy on bass and Steve on guitar and Bisonette drumming was cool. Absolute pros but they had fun. Hands down my favorite supergroup. When VH split for that time everyone won, especially the fans.

I miss the 80's so bad. My stomach gets in knots when I think about it, and then I get bummed out that it's gone.
To make it even worse. It will never come back. People are way to serious now, arguing about pronounce and stupid sh!t. I`m in my 50s now and I can`t really see those times ever come back in any shape or form. Millennials and GenZ has completely destroy all fun in the world.

The best musical lineup ever, ever
I saw DLR Eat ‘em and Smile tour with Tesla opening. Incredible show by both. Tesla was amazing and Dave was unreal. Seeing Billy on bass and Steve on guitar and Bisonette drumming was cool. Absolute pros but they had fun. Hands down my favorite supergroup.
When VH split for that time everyone won, especially the fans.

this was a great album. along with van Halen 5150,they both put out first classic albums. ladies night in buffalo, classic. summer nights by van Hagar, classic. not gonna pick. great albums. good times.
