Wow, flashback to 1981-82 season. I can't believe Sagebrush is still standing! Glad to see the 'parties every night' hasn't changed. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, improllyfingrbording, for that cool vid. Takes me back. I lived in Sagebrush during the 1981-'82 and 1982-'83 ski seasons. Worked the base area and parking lots at Keystone my first season and bumped chairs at A-Basin the second season. Most excellent times in those tiny rooms. As I recall, it dumped in '83, closing the Eisenhower Tunnel, triggering avalanches on Hwy 6, and generally burying the place. The folks from Denver couldn't get to the ski areas. Sweet employee pow days at the Basin.
Lived here 2 season's in mid-80's. Back then everything was free-ish - $5/hour wage, IIRC. I worked @ the Summit House and skied down in the dark after my shift @ 11p.m. No Gondola or lifts were running.
Gina!!! acabamos de ver tu video! está increíble 💙 Vamos a compartirlo para que más personas puedan beneficiarse de tu información, te mandamos un abrazo! 😁
No pets in Sagebrush, I've seen people do it for a while but they eventually get caught. I'd say Tenderfoot would be most likely to allow, followed by Sunrise but I don't know. Good luck!
Yeah sunrise cost a little more and was more spacious, still roomates though. And Tfoot had some resort owned and some privately owned apartments, harder to get but I think allow pets. Like half of the employees live in Dillon one town over free bus
hello do you mind explaining the employee housing like is it completely free? Or if you work for the resort do you still have to pay something for that little space?
You don't, unless you want to be fired. Keystone has a drug free policy. I got my room mate who played the mascot of Keystone fired tbh. He bragged that he'd always be stoned while in costume annnnnd...well if you're going to be around kids and families as the mascot of somewhere. Yeaaaaa, I ratted him out. Not just because of that but it was a big reason. I don't smoke weed, anymore after a few really bad trips and even smelling it gives me ptsd
Gross! I'd heard it was bad but mygod. I was housed at sunrise across from that gas station and tbh it wasn't too bad. That.....well hope you didn't ever go to basic training because that housing would give me ptsd lol. I worked at keystone over the year of 2016. Started during winter at mountain house Jan 7th 2016 ended out my year Jan 2017

1994 sagebrush was crazy

It's got all ya need!
We used to call it Ragebrush for a reason....
Do you remember if any of the employee housing options were pet friendly?
No pets in Sagebrush, I've seen people do it for a while but they eventually get caught. I'd say Tenderfoot would be most likely to allow, followed by Sunrise but I don't know. Good luck!
Thanks! Did they have other options for housing that cost a little more but provided a little more room/single rooms?

How much was this monthly? Is this the only housing keystone offers?

Theres still rent but its not bad. Still Sunrise and Tenderfoot are the better options for employee housing although the rent is higher
