When Kate married into the royal family she didn't have the type of wardrobe required for royal events. It would be reasonable that she had to purchase a massive new wardrobe for her new role. She is frequently spotted in very reasonably priced items, especially for "off duty" events, and often recycles many of her outfits for even official events.

Yes, the Middleton's are self-made millionaires. I don't believe they are billionaires. However, even with that amount of money available, Kate didn't have the wardrobe required to attend state dinners, balcony appearances and foreign trips where she represents the queen. If you look at pictures of her before she married, she wore the typical wardrobe that a 20-something wore....jeans, short skirts, boots etc. That is not typically what she wears today.

As a monarchist, I need to correct some HUGE mistakes that this video has made. If you claim to track their every move you should be able to do some simple fact checks.
- Prince Andrew is The Queen's second son
- The tiara that Diana wore on her wedding day is the Spencer Tiara i.e. it belongs to the Spencer family.
- Queen Mary was the paternal grandmother of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
- The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge are the parents of three children
- Catherine and Meghan are not Princesses
- The Royal Family has never been involved with rodeo
- Sarah Ferguson and Prince Philip have a "feud"
- The Duke & Duchess of Cornwall were romantically involved before Prince Charles married the then Lady Diana Spencer.
I could correct more mistakes, but I am quite sure that The Talko wouldn't take them on.

The rodeo footage literally made me 😂... It was just so silly to see! When they stated Queen Mary was the mother of Queen Elizabeth II, again, laughter. As well as other examples you noted.
It's sad, however, when someone is genuinely interested in learning about the Royal Family & they believe these videos to be correct in their "knowledge". Some of it is merely common sense! SMH

Why was Princess Anne left out? It's apparent that she is extremely frugal. She wears clothes that she also wore 10 or 20 years ago and hasn't changed her hairstyle in as long also. I think she should win the prize for being most frugal. She wouldn't even allow the queen to give her children Royal titles. She also takes on more Royal engagements then anyone else in the entire family.

They still attend all the Royal events and they still sit with the Royals and attend all birthdays and vacation together but they don't have all the obligations that the others do. They have always said they were glad they did not have a title.

The money for clothing and personal items are paid for by Charles from their private owned properties or out of her own pocket not from taxpayers. She is in the process of building a wardrobe worthy of her royal status. The clothes that she wore prior are unacceptable to most.

As a (former) celebrity, Meghan was very money conscious. She featured a lot of budget & mid priced things in her shopping posts & her clothes, though department store brands mostly, weren't completely unattainable. Compared to Royalty, Meghan was cheap. As a commenter below mentioned, she & Kate married into Royalty & they needed new looks to match their roles. Certain it came from their husband's private fund or a clothing allowance.

Meghan was never a celebrity except in her own mind. Lol. Was was a support cast member in a Canadian cable show which most people didn’t know about in Canada. The $5m she is reported to have had when she married harry was a guestimate as she had to pay taxes on it. If she works in Canada and the US there is a certain number of days she can work in Canada.

Flutter Bize I once read that Andrew and Sarah never stopped loving each other. They just never saw each other. Sarah wrote that in their 5 years of marriage, she only saw Andrew for 40 days a year. Andrew was away, active in the Navy. Sarah said she was absolutely bored and waned to get out and work or do something. I think it’s pretty sweet also that he still treats her well.

My mom was a dress maker and I was a nanny in London years ago, Kate likes classic styles for herself and children, well made but not extravagant. Princess Charlotte's dresses are hand smocked, the same style worn for 80 years and sell for about $130. She would never purchase cheap clothes but stays with her signature style.

Catherine is great in our eyes since she mainly wears low end clothing for public events. She does spend a bit more for state events which is natural. Meghan’s frugal spending habits were pre-royal.... prior to her engagement. She has always had excellent taste and was known to buy very reasonably priced designer fashion prior to becoming engaged to hairy… I sometimes get the impression she overcompensates with outward appearance for her and her insecurities having join the royal family. I think we can all relate at some time in our lives when we were faced with things that made us anxious so we made sure our warpaint looked perfect.

I think there is one video where she put £5 on her own horse to win and she got £16 back. The money she makes from her own winning racehorses goes back directly into the care of the horses. 3.
