Yeah. Hell, I’ve stories of her helping people out of making a social faux pas like with Margaret Trudeau, Pierres wife. When she meant the Queen she curtsied to low and would’ve stumbled getting up but she was holding the Queens had so she stiffened her grip and helped to avoid the awkward situation. I think she’s happy that people respect her and she isn’t offended or anything if you can’t do it perfectly.

I was just watching a video on the queen and apparently her father (King George VI) told her something along the lines of "Every single person you interact with will remember it". Because she's the Queen of England and meeting her is an event. So she tries to never give off an air of disapproval, because she doesn't want that to be the memory the person has of her. Even more reason for her to brush off these faux pas from ordinary folk.

Despite the inability to hide how gauche she is, we have rewarded Ms. Fenty with billionaire status from her music and her fashion line. It's sadly another reason to question one's faith in humanity....or at the very least lament the voracious appetite so many of my fellow Americans have for a steady stream of $#!+. We are, after all, the fools that made the Kardashians, Paris Hilton, and Snooki rich as well despite none of them actually contributing anything of substance beyond pop culture.

The kicker is most of the things that were deemed “disrespectful” were all things that were done in good taste anywhere else in the worlds. For those who aren’t of royal descent or from those countries they wouldn’t know. To interact with her or anyone from the royal family properly would take a lifetime to learn. There are so many details and nuances that anxiety would kick in all trying to just say hello! Luckily she didn’t hold it against them.

I'm from the U.S. and I don't hold much respect for Trump. I respect the history, our freedoms, rights, etc. Just as I hold in high regard what the Presidency and Government are SUPPOSED to stand for! I too respect the history, tradition, and symbolism, etc of The Royal Family, including the Queen. I also respect a lot of people as common as myself, though. I see all good humans as equals, worthy of the same level of respect! It doesn't have to be all or none. I'd abide by their rules, and traditions just as much as I would for the Queen or President. If my friend didn't want me to wear my shoes in thier house for whatever reason, I wouldn't. If they wanted us all to wear a certain color to their party, I would abide by their wishes. If what they asked of me was reasonable, and held real meaning for them, I'd do my best to follow their wishes. Just as I'd try to learn, and follow the rules if I met the Queen or President. Even though I may not care much for the President, I still respect the position of Presidency. Just as I respect any attentive waitress at a restaurant. Levels may very depending on my history, with the individual, my history with them, or knowledge of them.

I am certain the Queen, Our Majesty, has enough common sense to realise not all people will be aware of these rules when meeting her, and do not intend offence despite unknowingly making it. After all, Queen Elizabeth is well versed in the art of tact and manners and even if someone were to directly insult her whether by incident or not, she would not call them out upon it nor draw other's attention to their mistake. That is one of the reasons she makes an excellent queen- she is a brilliant diplomat, and has more than an ounce of common sense.
