I've been watching a lot of videos about building extensions and yours are by far the most informative and helpful.

Hi. Thanks for this series of videos. They are up there with the best videos I have seen... You discussed how the engineered bricks are generally an 'all round' better product for masonry, other than the negative aesthetic quality compared to other bricks. If someone was going to build a masonry wall, and render over the top, would you recommend using this type of 'engineered bricks' to complete the wall, due to these added qualities. Cheers.

Hi again. Not sure what camera you're filming with but one thing that you can do to stop the glare, which also improves contrast and therefor the detail, is to add a lens hood. Even just adapt a piece of tape and a little piece of cardboard, which you can knock up in minutes (just think about how shading the lens with your hand helps, and thats where you can stick that piece of cardboard. Just be careful not to dinette the corner of the shot with the piece of cardboard), will add to the quality of your production. I only mention because you're obviously already doing a good job.

I wonder how much pressure from back filling the plastic sewer pipes can handle. I was quite surprised when I saw they just get buried with no additional protection. They're obviously designed for it.

Your dpc should be lapped on to exsisting not butted to
Your air bricks should be under dpc
And dont forget your vertical dpc to exsisting building
