I’m an student of history honours and we have to read more book then she has mentioned especially for medieval India
It takes 2-3 monthd to complete upinder singh if you are studying for straight 10 Hours
And how come it took 3-4 months only to complete optional?

yes you can. the way of expressing your answer can be either in paragraphs or in points also you can use both. Provided you are covering the required areas of the answers as per question.

It is advised to use only one pen due to paucity of time, you get only 6 mins to complete one answer. if one can maintain the speed with the combinations of pens then he can write heading and subheading with two different colors (black & blue).

Choice of optional subject should be according to you. one must be comfortable in learning that subject. Medium is not the barrier in any case.
Bhai... baat maan mera aur Hindi Literature le. Agar tu hindi medium me de rha hai, toh tera chances bohot low hai already, hindi literature le le.
Now a days anthropology is the most popular optional even more than history, geography, psir.
1- it is very scoring
2- syllabus is not very vast.
Although it is popular only in English medium. In hindi medium proper guidance, books, teachers for anthropology are not available.
So in opinion it is not a very wise decision for hindi medium student to choose anthropology.
