But it just seems extremely hard to justify spending $100 for something purely aesthetic when plenty of full-fledged games come LOADED with content (including ALL skins in many other FPS games) for $60 I would happily pay $60 for Valorant if it included absolutely all pieces of content, but I'm thankful for the people who are willing to waste their money on skins so I can play for free Even for games like Smash Bros., new fighters which take several months of hard work and development to create, only cost $6 each. I really don't see how you could think that $100 for a skin pack isn't highway robbery

It costs US$15 and they also sell skins and characters, occasionally. Thing is, they have PLENTY of skins from different tiers and players get random drops every week (based on hours played). You can also trade currently own skins for spools, which you can use to obtain certains skins. But of course, good drops are rare and trading for spools can take some time, so you can also purchase the skins from the Steam market or from the ingame store. They're still updating the game with content (which is free) and new characters, which some are free if you own one of their other games, some are for sale and some are completely free. With new characters, they also release skin sets for said characters and those you have to buy. Klei is a superb company, their games are way too good for the price they ask and, in my opinion, they make cosmetic item sales just right.
