Mi A2 lite hardware problem no USB connection ever, only charging

- Neither PC nor the phone acknoledge USB connection, the phone only starts charging, but no notification about usb mode, the computer does not react at all, as if nothing were connected. Tried in 3 different computers, 10 usb diferent ports, and 6 different usb cables.
I thought this is a video for the problem. At the end only noticed this is just showing your problem!

When you use an SD card in an Android one device you set your storage SD card as encrypted or not encrypted. If you choose to encrypt the card, this will not be read by a PC normally. Another scenario is that you may not have the proper drivers installed. In your video I can see that the wire is working correctly since it charges the device. But either you encrypted your SD card or you are missing the drivers for your phone.
One more thing, the root storage of the device is not accessible through a PC for a regular user. You must be a root user to do so.

Keep your phone connected to the computer while doing these steps.
1. Activate the developer option
settings - about phone - build number (click on this 7 times)
2. Change option of usb
settings - system - developer options -
In developer options, there is section called networking.
You will find:
Select USB Configuration
Charging
You can change
Charging
to
MTP (Media Transfer Protocol)
Problem Solved.
I do all steps , but the mtp option is turned off !!

Default USP Configuration is in No data transfer mode and can't change this one

Yes same issue i have tried a lot of things but finally i came on a final decision is that somehow usb setting is disabled on my xaoimi ,First everthing was fine otg working ,Mobile with Pc connection Working ,Somehow i mess with my developer option width setting and my phone keeps on restarting so i tried to hard reset my phone but after that usb is not working I tried every possible solution ,still nothing ,I thinks it is due to Build prop Coding error of my redmi ,

Using Total Commander via FTP connection. Simple and quick to use with Xiaomi handler!
Tried everything. When I use adb devices, PC finds nothing.
Same issue here too I asked at mobile shop he said may be the usb port need to be changed

Just Go To Pc> C drive >windows > INF > and search " wpdmtp.inf " then
right click on it and install the driverwith your phone plugged in . and after installation you see your device became visible .

SOLVED!!!
wifi FTP only. devices must be conected to thet same wifi conection.
On phone:
Start "ShareMe" or "Mi Dropp" app.
Then on options "conect to pc".
Folow "Start".
Choose tipe of conection.
On pc:
On explorer write adress "ftp://192.168.1.172:2121" (thet adress what appears on you phone)
Done!!!

You go to your phone where it writes: Android system - charging
then you tap it and it says More options - USB - use of USB for... You change it to File transfer!!
