Maybe my favorite example of this is kind of the opposite? That Katamari episode where Dan brings up the reverse mermaid, the hot lady with a fish head. And when Arin says he'd fuck her anyways, and Dan goes silent, the music in the background hits like a crescendo, just before arin goes "yknow?"
Their totk play through has so many good moments like that, the one where Arin creates the correct build for a shrine puzzle only to instantly destroy the whole thing because he used a heavy weapon is so peak
The switch from “I’m so tired Arin please let me skip work tomorrow” to “IS THAT CALLED THE N-BOMB” is so fucking funny dude I don’t think I had ever seen that full clip before
