Hey sorry for the ridiculous amounts of screen tearing throughout this video, it's kinda impossible to know what the recordings look like while you've got a VR headset on. Just wanted to clarify that there is no issues at all with the actual game and it looks amazing when you play it okay
I didn't notice any tears tbh. Also, I wanted to ask if you release your songs anywhere and would you let them be played on twitch if you did? Like for use in the background of a space game for example. DMCA has really nocked us twitch streamers about and I absolutely love your music!
@@ajaynorris3526 Not only playable - partially better than real instruments in that it allows you to go all Imogen Heap on your controllers or add a third dimension that'd be a chore to navigate IRL. Virtuoso is really dang solid software, all things considered.
Virtuoso, how's the product development going? Is there still any interest in your product? Steep learning curve is a problem.. .but honestly MUSIC inherently does have a steep learning curve. Amazing product. I hope it worked out for you guys!

It looks and sounds like a really legitimate music making software. The samples are great, seems like you liked the controls. I wouldn't be mad if you made some more with this Virtuoso game. It is also pretty simple to understand and clear, so I feel like probably a lot of people liked it too.

Ok, now imagine you log in to a VR club to meet online peeps and whatnot and there's Levi playing these beats there. You could totally have some pre-made beats and perform on top of it. That would sure be dope. I guess Its somewhat possible with VR chat?
I think it is not quite possible with VR chat, but he could still use the beats and sections made in this game in Ableton or something and put Ableton through his microphone
Truth is with covid that would not be an all bad idea. Imagine we had virtual world clubs. It would all be from home but you can still meet people and listen to music made by players.
A neat thing you can do is resize instruments by grabbing it with both hands and widening your arms as well as rotating it; cool if you want a huge vertical harp or whatever. Also, you can grab any of the drums and put them wherever you like to make your own drum set. One thing I do is have a kick with an open hat right underneath it but upside-down, then just pass the drumstick through it back and fourth to easily make a basic dance beat.
wow, i'm actually impressed by this. It's literally like a full-on VR DAW (with quite a lot of limitations, obviously) but *STILL* seems like one of the best VR music making ''games''.

by far this seems like the best program to make some cool tracks with as opposed to the other programs definitely wish-listing this one, it's not available on steam yet.. however I do have revive but man I was feeling this track it sounded just epic!
not a music maker, but damn, it sounds and looks soooo good! I would just stim in this game for hours if I had VR❤ thank you for showing us such amazing thing!

This seems like it’s the first music VR music maker that embraces the fact it’s in VR and doesn’t suffer from it. Really awesome stuff.
yeah
Ya, it turns the real instruments into something that's actually playable in VR, instead of just making them bigger.

Thanks a lot for trying out Virtuoso! Absolutely love how the song turned out. 😍

Yeah only the drums arent that great
i am glad the "making music in vr" series is still going! i love it so much
Virtuoso is such a goddamn good play on words for a VR Music game and I gotta say I'm pretty relieved that the name wasn't wasted on a terrible game.
This is by far the most impressive VR music maker you've shown. I like how innovate the instruments are.
It always amazes me, when you're treating sounds not individually, but you rather image how would they sound with other instruments.
At 11:00 the whole atmosphere of the song just changes and sounds so cool!
Only two minutes in but this is my favorite VR music maker so far- that arpeggiated harp tho 👌
There is a tempo sync feature in Virtuoso - try it next time, it takes live performances in this app to another level :D
This this this!
by the far the coolest vr music maker with the most potential, the end result sounds amazing too
i think this is the best one you've made so far, but the grid one with the modules was the coolest concept of a game
this upload schedule is concerning me in a good way
Same lol

Virtuoso actually seems like a really fun way to make music, well at the very least it was fun watching you toy around with it d:
Kudos to the developer, this is really well made!
This looks like a really immersive experience, and the end result is a chill vibe 8)

That would be amazing. I hope that soon VR headsets will be easier to get, so things like that can happen
Seeing a new Levi Niha video just dropped feels like finding five dollars in your pants pocket
*when you are a child*
The sounds in this one are freaking godly
I didn't expect him to actually use the mosquito noise, and it works great somehow

That sort of delayed harp rhythm is so incredibly cool.
So weird to imagine that this could potentially be the actual future of live concert performances/dj sets!!! Very cool

You should revisit this one when they updated it. This one feels and looks pretty good.
The music you made sounds like it'd fit perfectly in with the celeste sound-track
I loved how everything is super 80’s action movie sounding
I love your videos man. It’s like having a big brother (who’s a music god) to watch and play games - well you make music.
This is so cool! I got hooked on dreams after watching Levi and now I know what my first VR download will be
13:30 a masterpiece has awaken
Dood that song was so good that I actually brought out my drums and started playing to the song
I love how the instruments have the same vibe as the environment
this one seems like one of the better VR music games you've tested thus far

The game really does have some nice sounds though, suits my style very well
The synths in this are giving me real Fez vibes and I love it
Finally! A really good VR music maker! It even looks cool! :D
this legit is so cool, especially the song
Levi: "making music in VR"
Me: "how do you make music with toilet paper"
So basically you have to grab toilet paper, wipe your poop and then eat it
And then the music you wanted to make will play in your brain
I choked on air
12:00 is giving me intense Risk of Rain 2 vibes and I love it
easily the best vr program youve covered yet
“This will be so hard!”
also levi: **plays the wavemin with ease**
i love your vids! :>
I loved that music, rythm is the best. All musics and beatboxes what you make is nice.
I'm still absolutely stoked about finding your channel after looking up how to use audacity
Both:
1:36 - 1:44 and
1:53 - 2:07
They all sound like Tron Legacy’s Soundtrack and I love it
13:40 Sounds like Home or a bit like Boards Of Canada. Looove it!!
So excited that you found Virtuoso!
Love seeing you play Virtuoso! Would be so fun to see another video, maybe an upbeat song? 😍
Bruh that harp at the beginning was SOOO NICE, if I ever get vr this is the first game I’m getting
This vr game looks really cool, definitely something you would make something New Retro Wave in it and with the appearance as well
so underrated i love this beat so much it sounds so goood keep up the good work
Wow, there are some really nice pop culture references, like "Canada trip" (Boards of Canada), "Replicant" (OST of Blade Runner by Vangelis)
Especially at 10:29
@@excelli3971 yes! I can easily imagine that as BOC tune😃

This is the first one that i'm compelled to try out myself
More VR DAWs required. You'd no longer be constrained to a small 2d screen. You are inside the DAW.

there are waaay more music making VR apps than what i was expecting
I absolutely love this series man, thanks so much for this: keep it up!

Added this to my wishlist on the Meta App after seeing this video! LOVE the look of it!
Now I really wanna use this In one of my videos it gives off a seriousness that would fit well with a raid or something
Absolutely Amazing bro.........It nearly made me fall asleep🤣🤣🤣
Honestly most of the sounds he made while playing around sounded like they would be cool for a song.
A lot of those 80's synth chords he played reminded me of Boards of Canada's music
glad that you are doing this series.
WOW
amazing job!!!!
I love it!
Another!!! This was so sick please make another 🙌🙌
Love you Levi, just commenting for the algorithm
all the cool wobbly synths gives me Jameson Nathan Jones vibes, particularly his album "signals"
The song you made sounds a lot like a track you would find in celeste. great work!
This sounds insane, I freaking love it!
_claps in the distance_
also sounds like a villain theme or at least a remixed one lollll
Easily the best of the bunch

It just straight up sunds like a part of the Risk of rain soundtrack, and I'm not complaining.
The whole 3D block section I felt like I was In the backrooms. It was like those “familiar places with unnerving music” videos
You're seeing the sun setting, and then turn around to see alien vehicles floating down to the city you're near in
Wow the board sounds amazing in the song
This gives me boneworks vibes.
This was amazing!
that sounded like futuristic platformer game music and i like it
Gives me "Kill the Noise" vibes, I love it
