Not a doctor, but my mother is a nurse. When I was about 10 years old, Mom took me to Discovery Zone for my birthday. Just as I had finished playing, a little boy suddenly collapsed in front of one of the slides. She ran over, telling staff "I'm a nurse!", began CPR (she's an instructor) and stayed with the boy until paramedics arrived. I think he was okay.
My husband monitors my breathing very closely, because I have severe asthma. His parents do this as well. Plus, currently, everyone is sick with some kind of cold or something,so we're being extra cautious with me.
Can confirm coffee ground vomit part. I had food poisoning like that when 14. I threw up pretty much on the clock every 30 minutes, heaving when I didn't have any more fluid left to purge out. Ended up staying in hospital for 2 weeks recovering with IV drip for first few days.
Many Muslim countries segregate patients and physicians by gender. And, for some, female doctors are treated with disdain or even contempt. Our new hospital residents often required cultural acclimation here, as our ICU nurses had no problem correcting incorrect attitudes by any means possible. I think I helped avoid some injuries.
9:20 That stuff drives me so mad. You always have a serious question and regardless of how open it might be, you always have the idiotic "Obligatory not a". NO. SHVT UP, IT IS NOT OBLIGATORY. WE WERE NOT TALKING TO / ABOUT YOU

My PhD was as unhelpful as expected.
