People were stunned and transfixed. The three opera vocals and then comes out to do the live MJ attitude pop rock vocal. Let it play long enough to get the gist because it comes an end beautifully. Also, the Diva Dance (from the Fifth Element), the version from the Bastau concert. Others I recommend include Love Is Like A Dream (absolutely beautiful in his vulnerability), and Ikanaide, done in studio for the Tokyo Jazz Festival during Covid. Seeing him up close shows how he commits to a song and to emotions it is trying to communicate. And he does something that made me gasp loudly and freeze in front of my computer screen. Dimash will be one of the judges in the Virtuosos competition celebrated in Hungary for the last 10 years. The great news is that Plácido Domingo asked him to sing a duet with him. The ceremony will be on January 7, 2024. El Amor en Ti is Dimash own composition. The lyrics were written in Spanish by two Mexican ladies upon his request and following the message that Dimash gave them. Who can claim to sing a quartet in perfect harmony with himself and that in two different genres and in all ranges😄. Opera and pop. Popera, or neo-classic. That was his first song in Spanish. He wrote this song for his Spanish-speaking Dears and performed it at his first concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022. There were about 30.000 people from 68 different countries. You can see on the video that it was an open-air concert and they set up three huge screens. What an awesome concert this must have been. Please react to Olimpico from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills (like so many others). It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favorite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. I was actually looking forward to Johnny's impression of the song itself because Dimash composed this but unfortunately we didn't get that this time. Also, guys, have you never heard of holograms? Lol. We got treated to snippets of the holograms being recorded and created by the company hired to do them and it was really interesting. Dimash through his work takes us on a voyage of discovery both into the past and the future.
Haha we were definitely confused. I think we were so engrossed in Dimash voice x 4, we kind of neglected the composition in lyrics itself… Something we will go back and enjoy our our own (at least) for sure!
@@throga he was obviously very proud of this song as we were treated to a great deal of behind the scenes footage for it right from Dimash playing guessing games with us as he gets on a private jet and hints that he's up in the clouds again to when he's overseeing the huge orchestra in the largest recording studio in the world. There was a lot of mystery and anticipation then bam, in the third part of the Almaty concert a 70ft holographic projection of Dimash appears centre stage with that gorgeous rich baritone that he's becoming renowned for. Btw Placido Domingo asked Dimash yesterday to perform a duet with him so that's going to be something to look forward to.

Also, BTW, you'll note he is wearing the same outfit he had on during his spectacular debut performance of The Story of One Sky which you reacted to and blew your mind. That was at the Almaty concert. You'll recall that towards the end of that song, he threw off his jacket, jumped around, screamed the high notes with grit as he pounded the stage. Basically out of breath, when he finally said "We need peace!" and walked off the stage, the towering Dimash dressed in black immediately started singing El Amor En Ti. Both are incredibly unique performances.

I was at Dimash's concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022. There were two premieres of songs, the music for which was written by Dimash himself. We, the audience, had not yet come to our senses from the song "The Story of One Sky", as all the lights went out in the stadium, and a giant figure of Dimash in black appeared in the dark. The beautiful to the point of madness "El Amor En Ti" began. This song was an absolute surprise, because no one knew about its existence in advance. I've never seen a performance like this.. It is necessary, someone came up with the idea for four vocal parts to create four fantastic images: Giant Dimash in black (they say, the projection was the height of a 7-storey house) - fatal, philosophical, wise in life experience. Dimash in white (a little smaller, about the height of a 5-storey building) is full of life and the desires of youth, energetic and romantic. Dimash in red (equal in height to white) - the link between youth and maturity, a burning heart, a fire in the blood. And the unexpected fourth Dimash is a small living person against the background of giant figures. The whole unusualness and trick in this song was that high-class academic classical singing with baritone, tenor and soprano was combined with singing in the style of pop. This performance is part of a show in Almaty (Kazakhstan) where Dimash goes to the dressing room to rest a little after eating "The History of One Sky". The three Dimashes are 70 ft tall holograms. Pre filmed and recorded. He is in sync with each one. Its amazing. And was pretty amazing for the audience. This song came right after One Sky. People were stunned and transfixed. The three opera vocals and then comes out to do the live MJ attitude pop rock vocal. Let it play long enough to get the gist because it comes an end beautifully. Dimash has instincts.

Also, the Diva Dance (from the Fifth Element), the version from the Bastau concert. Others I recommend include Love Is Like A Dream (absolutely beautiful in his vulnerability), and Ikanaide, done in studio for the Tokyo Jazz Festival during Covid. Seeing him up close shows how he commits to a song and to emotions it is trying to communicate. And he does something that made me gasp loudly and freeze in front of my computer screen. The tears flowed.😮

Dimash will be one of the judges in the Virtuosos competition celebrated in Hungary for the last 10 years. The great news is that Plácido Domingo asked him to sing a duet with him. The ceremony will be on January 7, 2024.
El Amor en Ti is Dimash own composition. The lyrics were written in Spanish by two Mexican ladies upon his request and following the message that Dimash gave them. In just a week before the Almaty concert, Dimash learned the lyrics in Spanish.

Can't remember if you guys have done it already but Dimash's cover of Ikanaide for the Tokyo Jazz Festival is probably still one of my favorites of his performances.
I love the faces, when the second Dimash appears😂.He’s just incredible and unmatched. Who can claim to sing a quartet in perfect harmony with himself and that in two different genres and in all ranges😄. Opera and pop. Popera, or neo-classic. That was his first song in Spanish. He wrote this song for his Spanish-speaking Dears and performed it at his first concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022. There were about 30.000 people from 68 different countries. You can see on the video that it was an open-air concert and they set up three huge screens. What an awesome concert this must have been.

Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.
Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills (like so many others). It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating.
This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favorite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. The best version of Diva Dance imo is the duet with Li Yugang called the Diva Dance/Drunken Concubine song.
I'm pretty sure this was right after The Story of One Sky in the concert. The prerecorded intro gave him a chance to take a breather after that dramatic performance!

I don't even try to explain him now. After watching him for years... I just sit in awe. My brain will not allow me to just sit and do something while he is on singing. I was actually looking forward to Johnny's impression of the song itself because Dimash composed this but unfortunately we didn't get that this time.
Also, guys, have you never heard of holograms? Lol. We got treated to snippets of the holograms being recorded and created by the company hired to do them and it was really interesting. Dimash through his work takes us on a voyage of discovery both into the past and the future.

@@throga he was obviously very proud of this song as we were treated to a great deal of behind the scenes footage for it right from Dimash playing guessing games with us as he gets on a private jet and hints that he's up in the clouds again to when he's overseeing the huge orchestra in the largest recording studio in the world. There was a lot of mystery and anticipation then bam, in the third part of the Almaty concert a 70ft holographic projection of Dimash appears centre stage with that gorgeous rich baritone that he's becoming renowned for.
Btw Placido Domingo asked Dimash yesterday to perform a duet with him so that's going to be something to look forward to.

Also, BTW, you'll note he is wearing the same outfit he had on during his spectacular debut performance of The Story of One Sky which you reacted to and blew your mind. That was at the Almaty concert. You'll recall that towards the end of that song, he threw off his jacket, jumped around, screamed the high notes with grit as he pounded the stage. Basically out of breath, when he finally said "We need peace!" and walked off the stage, the towering Dimash dressed in black immediately started singing El Amor En Ti. Both are incredibly unique performances.
