I was 2 and 3 years old when the Broncos won their first two super bowls. My grandpa had these movies on VHS and I watched them religiously as a kid, because I was going to grow up and be a QB. My grandfather just passed away last month and watching these reminds me of him. Thank you for uploading
Me and my mom made a bet in the first superbowl against the packers in 1997 i was 11 years old...she picked greenbay and I took denver and I'm pretty sure Greenbay was the favorites...long story short...I didn't have to do any chores for 3 months and I got to go to bed at 11 on school nights for the entire school year
@@sandman2898 Green Bay had a Vegas spread of -11.5 because people thought Denver and John Elway were losers! Broncos of 2024 needs to watch this video. They never gave up always pressuring the QB and receivers would put their body's on the line to catch the ball or score a TD I miss those days
My great grandmother and grandmother were/are die hard fans, my great grandmother passed that summer and didn’t get to see it here on earth but on the 26th my grandmother and I visited her and it was cold but when we got to the cemetery the skies opened up for an hour and the sun was shining in all its glory. We drank a couple Modelos by her stone and had a moment. Almost 30 years later and it still gives me the chills. Yes my grandmother also got to see PFM win our Broncos their 3rd. If God isn’t a Broncos fan then why are the sunsets orange and blue. Cheers to all
I was in my 20s in the 80s, living in Denver drom 85 to 92. It was heartbreaking to see them lose all those superbowls. It gives me goosebumps to watch this. So happy for Elway.
I got made fun (lightly) by my first grade teacher after the loss to the Redskins when my parents lived outside of DC. Being convinced they would lose to the packers I took full advantage of my older brother allowing to drink the beer he had at his superbowl party, replay was the only way I could remember it
I agree those Super Bowl losses were heartbreaking, but I miss those uniforms so much, for me those were Denver Broncos colors and logo, I loathe and despised the change to navy blue and new logo, still do to this day. I know we've won Super bowls in them but it doesn't change the fact that to me they still look hideous 🤮
Good memories. I was 17 years old wnen the broncos finally won a Superbowl woth John Elway. My mom got to see thst before she passed away. I'm 43 years old now and watch the broncos stink up the field with my children. Hopefully Denver can turn it around soon. Thanks for posting.
went through my high school and college in Boulder n Denver 81-2005. Spent all my Sunday learning the game American football by watching Elway, and finally watched the victorious game from my home country Indonesia. What a sight ... Finally we won the Super Bowl
I remember it like it was yesterday. I was 29. It was a great season with great team chemistry. Like so many lifelong Broncos fans, I cried like a baby when they finally won a super bowl. I'll never forget this special season. Great players playing together.
I remember watching 2 games in Columbus Georgia at my late grandparents house Atlanta & Buffalo I certainly remember watching them play Cincinnati after my late wedding happened the day before Thank u mr Pat Bowlen and ❤ and miss my late grandparents and father
There are many comments that can be made about this great film... But, man, that pass by Farve for the first touchdown is one of the greatest ever...wow.
That 3 year run by the Broncos was as good a 3 years a franchise can have. 13-4, 16-4, 17-2. The loss in 96 lit the fire for the 97 team, and the 97 team gave them the confidence to repeat in 98.
I graduated in 97, have been a Bronco fan since I was 12. The 96, 97, and 98 teams were magical. I'll never forget what it felt like to watch this team win their first Superbowl victory the year I graduated high school.
I was a freshman in h.s. living in the Chicago area and all my friends loved Brett Favre and would talk smack about Elway to me for a few years but after this season and the next, no one said anything. and I loved wearing my championship shirts to school..

That was just an incredible run, all the more sweeter by running three of the four wins at the end of the entire season all on the road. Love that entire uniform change, need it to come back.
I am a lifelong Denver Broncos fan from Tacoma WA. I can’t explain how much Dave Logan’s voice means to me. And I don’t even hear it like Denver locals do.
I was an Elway fanatic, I went to see them play in KC and Buffalo that year. After the Super Bowl win I ordered the VHS tape, hat, t-shirt and watch. I watched the tape over and over. I also taped the Super Bowl and rewatched it many times. Sooooo glad I found this to watch again. Back to Back Baby 🏆

John Mobley broke up the pass on 4th and 6 to seal the win for Denver. I was rooting like crazy for Denver and John Elway to finally get a Super Bowl win. What an impressive team, and a GREAT Super Bowl effort by both teams.
I picked the Broncos as my AFC SB team but after that 3 game road trip...My faith in the Broncos turned to doubt however it was reinvigorated after the Jacksonville win and the rest is H-I-S-T-O-R-Y!!
Thank you for bringing back the childhood memories of watching this tape on repeat! I thought I’d never see this tape again after my childhood home was burglarized and the tape was stolen along with many other things.
I loved both teams & both QB's. Elway and Favre are my two favorite QB's EVER!! The sentiment was obviously for Elway to finally win a Superbowl. Green Bay's defense was set up to stop Elway from doing that. But they totally forgot about Terrell Davis. And to beat Green Bay, Denver knew they had to take what the Packers gave them. That is why Elway did not have to throw much in that game. Smart choice, it gave Denver the victory!!
Seeing John Elway celebrate his first Super Bowl victory when the clock hit zero was one of the best moments in sports history. After all those crushing defeats in the previous 3 super bowls. I was happy for him.
I've watched super bowl after super bowl when Denver lost. Only my #1 Vikings have yet to win, then I can pass from this earth in peace. Till then, I just keep on believing!

Not the cowboys not the niners not the packers- the Broncos were the best team of the 90s
96 packers or 94 49ers or 92 Washington redskins were the best team
