There's something abt the back of that pixel 5 that gets me every time!! Something so satisfying!! Yes, even though the mi10T pro looks absolutely gorgeous with its Aurora blue!!
What I personally would like to see with these large camera bumps is for manufacturers to place place them horizontally and build a kickstand into the bottom edge. Being horizontal across the top would reduce table wobble and a built-in kickstand would enhance landscape viewing of movies, videos, etc.
So excited with my Mi 10T Pro Lunar Silver (love that matte glass finish better)..got it for only 1869 MYR (around 460 USD) with some shopee coins and vouchers..normal price here in Malaysia is 1999 MYR..they also made a no brainer promotion/offer by giving away Mi 4S 55" smart tv for free but limited to a few hundreds of lucky customers who purchased via Lazada at the time it's officially released here, but i missed that opportunity..hmmm
Have you tried the Mi10T? It has a 64mp main camera vs the 108mp and 6gb of ram starting instead of 8gb but it's $100 cheaper. Is that worth looking at?
hi..i have mi10t pro....im having a wifi6 router....already set 160mhz, and for AX mode in router....my phone also shows 6 at the wifi bar....im having 500mbps speed....but im only getting 300mbps plus only on my phone....restarted my router many times......did i miss anything??

Update to the latest update on Pixel 5. the sound improves greatly. Compare the fluidity, speed and real battery life of the phones, not just the specifications. Pixel 5 rules! nice job!
It's not all about specs bro. This phone is still smoother and more fluid than half of the Xiaomi SD865 or Dimensity 1000+ phones I have used. Great CPU isn't anything if it's not optimized, and phones like K30 Ultra have really disappointed me after a few months of use.
@@FrankieTech This was my point exactly. People don't seem to understand, pixels literally don't slow down. I've had 2 pixels, 2 oneplus phones, 2 xiaomi phones. After 2 years the pixels are still smoother and work better than any of the others. The xiaomis are the worst. Oneplus second but still not on pixel level.

Frankie, please make a comparison between Mi 10 simple variant and Mi 10T Pro. I have a Mi 10 and i have OLED 90 hz panel, in display fingerprint sensor and also Snapdragon 865 and i think Mi 10 is a better option.
I'm waiting for the Black Friday sales in the UK to get the 10T Pro, for the price the features and to me the SOC it's a no brainer. Had the Pixel 5 been £100 cheaper it might have been in my pocket already but I have been dissapointed with Google's phone releases this year and for me the Pixel 6 might be one I seriously consider (I've been saying that since the Pixel 3)

Pixel 5 might be a better all rounder for most people- not everyone will put the 765G through its paces, but for the that price? I'd probably go with the MI 10T pro
Some outlets are saying the pixel 5 is as fast as pixel 4a, might be using a down clocked 765g. On top of that google have confirmed screen gap is totally normal, not very inspiring to gamble and get one.
For me Frankie the Mi10t pro just offers more for the price. If it had a 90 hz amoled screen, it would be simply unbeatable at its price point. The pixel seems to be the better choice if your looking a smaller easy to handle form factor, and a very reliable camera setup. Great comparison as always buddy🙂. 👍👍

I agree with the conclusion, Pixel phones have always been poor value per se, but it has its own following that transcends value and that is fair enough. As long as they do not preach to us their love and accept that they are paying extra for that fandom then go for it. Saying that, the Pixel 5 is a solid phone and at the right price is a good choice for the casual user, it is not a gaming phone or for rendering, better look elsewhere for those features. $699 is about $200 too high for that chipset. I do get that very few purchase a Pixel, under 3m a year so they have no economies of scale and the retail price reflects that low demand. But this is the status quo so unlikely to change as there are only so many people that love Pixel's that much to pay that Google Tax. Hopefully, it will sell to the top-end of the 800,000 Google are manufacturing and at least in some countries they are being price-sensitive, the UK it is £600 with free BOSE headphones. So over here it is cheaper than the low-spec Pixel 4a. I have had one since launch and have no complaints. I got 9h40m SOT using as a satnav on a long journey at medium brightness on LTE so battery life is above average. The speakers are okay for speech but sub-par for music (the Pixel 4XL is far superior). I am certainly not hyped up as some are but would not put you off at the right price.

I love the size of the pixel because it fits in any pockets, its not also prone to thieves because its small and handy but the processor and the cameras are not worth it for the price. So I guess xiaomi wins on this. Also IPS LCD is not that big deal for me because AMOLED sometimes can strain our eyes maybe because of the vibrant of the screen.

The display looks better on pixel especially blacks and at acute angles, also theres shadowing around the camera on 10T. MIUI still has micro stuttering as well, not as smooth as stock android in actual daily operation despite higher refresh. Cameras not even close. Youve never used a pixel 5 obviously. Xiaomi support is also complete garbage. 3 Years guaranteed updates on pixels. 10T will probably be lucky to get 1 full android version update. Pixel will be much smoother and faster in operation than any xiaomi phone after a year or two as well.

Pixel might feels smoother bcz of the light software but that doesn't mean that the phone will outperform the Flagships which uses the powerful cpu.

For me Pixel is dead... It died around the 3rd one💁🏼♂️ they should stop producing the phones and focus on selling their software as apps! Google cam and like you mention the dictaphone bit also the full capabilities of the assistant, would probably be a better and more profitable. I would go for the Mi of course, as the specs are far superior! Even if the screen looks brighter on the pixel.. BUT yeah a big one, those bezels 🤷🏼♂️ come on! I like having and apple with that notch in 2020.... 🤦🏼♂️😬😅
