A Quiet Place (Montgomery Bell State Park, Tennessee)

It’s been quite a while since I visited Montgomery Bell State Park. I have spent many, many hours here practicing my photography and just enjoying the scenery and atmosphere. Each season brings its own beauty and character. The entire park is beautiful, but there is one area that’s my favorite. That area is where the Presbyterian Church is located along with the log cabin replica. On a few occasions, I’ve sat in the pew enjoying the calm and stillness while reflecting on life. I find this section of the park very spiritual.
The other day I found some time to visit this area. It was like seeing and old friend. It was late in the evening, so I quickly grabbed some video before all the light was gone. The footage was captured handheld, no grip. I may come back sometime to do a more extensive shoot with a little planning. Until then, I hope you enjoy this short clip.
