U're right It is a bold statement because Sardar Udham is not everyone's cup of tea. But u may compare it tragical movies like schindlers list, So u may react it later. You can first watch movies like Jawan 2024 (blockbuster action) , 3 idiots 2009 (comedy), Drishyam 1&2 (thriller), Go Goa Gone (zombie comedy), Dangal (sports drama), Zindagi na melegi dobara (Adventure drama). U can search the reaction of these movies on RUclips u will see they get lots of views. So u can do these reactions first rather than Sardar udham now because it is a very sad and tragic movie.

Its good to know but the story moves extremely slow. No disrespect to the martyr. Not sure what your favourite genre is but definitely try - 3 Idiots, Taare Zameen par. Very relevant to every society. Bahubali 1 and 2 if you want similar experience. For military action genre - Lakshya, IB71, The Ghazi Attack.
Wait! You might want to watch - Pushpaa. I would recommend to watch it now and then you might want to watch its squeal in cinema near you ♥ It will be a complete different cinema experience with Indian crowd. Almost like a concert or as if watching the movie live.
I watch indian movies like I watch anime. Its better that way because few movies ever go for realism [gangs of wasseypur is one you must see if you want to see brutal realistic shit]
