My daughter is 4 years old, been having her cough for 5 weeks now, sometimes she coughs at night and in the morning. I'm worried but she seems to be energetic, don't have fever and can eat a lot. Do I still need to bring her for a check up?

This video helped me out a great deal concerning my daughter's constant dry cough. She has allergies and had her tonsils removed when she was younger. She coughs all day /everyday (1 cough every 23 seconds or so). I will request for her to see a pulminologist.
I have a question? Even after removing your daughters tonsils she still struggles with the cough?
@@jocelynburgos734 yes. slight dry cough. She is allergic to trees and grass and has slight asthma.. Doctor suggests she move out of the valley near an ocean.
Hi Doctor, thank you so much for sharing this video. My son is 7 years old, but he is coughing very often. I mean one week he is alright again next week starting to cough. also with a cough, he spitting phlegm too. sometimes he vomits at the same time. please can you tell me the what causes the problem? should I do something special treatments or is that normal? Hi I find myself here because my little boy has just turned 4 and at least every 6 weeks he gets a bad cough that lasts upto 5 days and causes reaching and actually makes him vomit. He had it badly 2 weeks ago and has it again now, it's the type of cough that keeps him awake all night coughing every few minutes at times. Hell get an hours sleep then a big coughing fit will wake him up. Sometimes he is poorly with it with a fever but mostly he is just drained, coughing a lot, and being sick when the coughing gets really bad. I've visited my gp twice but they've brushed it off as a normal childhood illness. But he is missing about a week of playschool per month because of it. Its also worse in the winter months than in the summer. I've booked another doctors apt for next week but I'm just doing a bit of my own research about it. I'm learning from your video that the fact it doesn't last week's and weeks is a good thing. But the fact he gets It so often can't be right can it? Anyone have any ideas???
nolikes or subscribers my daughter is 4 years old, she has the exact same symptoms. That’s why I’m watching this. All the doctors I took her to brushed it off too so I’m trying to do my own research. I hope your brother is doing better, did you found anything useful can share with me?

He always has dis strong cough dat will last for about 5_7days after much treatment of antibiotics injections ND bacteria d cough will go away,,
Bt will return after lk 2weeks ,,,we HV been suffering frm dis for 3yrs now
Am tired of him taking so many drugs ND injections yet d cough won't go permanently,,,it will stop
Bt shortly will return again

My baby has a cough. He has a history of pneumonia. What can I do?
I have my kid 4 years old , is always coughing he get antibiotic spend 2,3 weeks ok then he go back to cough. Always is with running nouse fever sometimes but winter always is coughing. He had flema during treatment of antibiotic he does not know how to spit it out so I dont know if it is because flema get infection again .. and also my kid is in day care in is around kids that are coughing too. Also my kid has reflects during the night so I dont know if some food goes in to the long causing the cough..

Yo this is happening less then a minute. More like 4 seconds I can control it to stop happening and if I cough to hard I end up gagging and I feel like my throat is not just irritated but also dry and I keep drinking water but it's not helping. It's just happening randomly... It's been 2 days now and I know I been coughing more then 100 times... The only thing I can do is to let it happen

guadalupe no, I had the same thing happen to me and waited too long (2 weeks) to go to my doctor and they had to give me steroids and an inhaler. go to the doctor! u will be so glad u went when u finally stop coughing

Yall I recommend cough linctus medicine if ur having coughs that come from your chest. I just had it and it was so relieving. But first check with a doctor 😊 it tastes GROSS kinda like salty mints but it helps! Read the instructions for how often u should have it. (I'm 12) I'm not sure if theres an age restriction for it but Good luck ;)))

I’ve been coughing for up to 4 weeks now for sure. And it’s to the point sometimes where I’m gaggin and nothing is coming out. Also phlegm has been clear and very thick and sometimes green and chunky. Please someone help, I’ve tried robutussin, Cold and flu, and mucinex. Also Mullien root. Nothing has fixed this problem 😭😭😭

My son who is 7 years old. He makes Slight cough every few seconds while talking and also during other activities like reading..
After consulting with pediatrician, he said it is habitual cough and get normal soon..
Even after 4 weeks the Slight cough is still persists..

@@rebeccatownrow1041 We have tried out the Medicines from Homeopathy clinic and it has been resolved now.. But I feel it must be habitual cough for my son with the combination with Slight disturb of dryness.. Because he Was not coughing while he is doing anything interesting for him.
Insist your kid to drink more water and often, and Monitor für one month..
